Our parents and teachers always tell us to "sit up straight" and "stand tall". But why do they say that? Is it just because they want us to look pretty? Or is there something more to it?

It was the first water landing by US astronauts in 45 years, with the first commercially (商业性地) built and operated spacecraft (宇宙飞船) to carry people to and from space. The return clears the way for another SpaceX flight as early as next month and possible tourist flights next year.

Test pilots Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken arrived back on Earth in their SpaceX Dragon capsule named Endeavour, less than a day after leaving the International Space Station and two months after getting into space from Florida. The capsule got into the calm waters about 40 miles off the coast of Pensacola.

"Welcome back to Earth and thanks for flying SpaceX," said Mission Control from SpaceX headquarters (总部). "It's exciting to see everybody here considering the things that have gone in the last few months since we left Earth," Hurley said after arriving back home in Houston on Sunday evening, where they were met by a small group of family and officials, including Musk. Musk had rushed to Houston from SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California, to welcome them.

The astronauts' ride back to Earth was fast and hot, at least on the outside. The spacecraft went from a speed of 17,500 mph to 350 mph, and finally to 15 mph at landing. The highest heating was 3,500 degrees Fahrenheit (华氏度).

Within a half-hour of water landing, the 16-foot capsule was pulled onto a SpaceX recovery ship where doctors and nurses were waiting. The opening of the capsule was held up for half an hour by extra checks for dangerous rocket gases outside the capsule. After medical checkups, the astronauts took a plane to Pensacola and then to Houston.

"I was homeless when I was young and I had to stay in different places. I still remember sleeping in the car with my dad one night," Stewart said.

Stewart started using coupons five years ago because she needed to save money while taking care of her three kids. After getting ideas from a TV show about coupons, Stewart watched videos online and joined online groups to learn to get coupons.

The family's house quickly filled with things like toilet paper, toothbrushes, and soap. It became too much because their house was small. So, Stewart decided to hand out these things during holidays, because she remembered how it felt not to get any gifts when she was a child.

"A man said to me, ‘I've never had a gift during holidays,'" Stewart said. "His face just lit up. It brought a lot of comfort (慰藉) to me, and I decided to keep giving."

Friends and strangers also began giving Stewart donations (捐赠物) like food and clothes to hand out as well. Stewart's best friend Kearse also helped her by giving her coupons.

Kearse said she was not surprised by Stewart's kindness. "She's always been a giver, even when she didn't have much money."

Last New Year's Day was the only holiday since 2019 when Stewart didn't hand out her bags, because her family moved house at that time. But when she walked into her new house, the first thing she said was "I have so much space to keep things for the homeless."

"Nice job, Denny," Coach Setlich said. "That's good enough for our team to finish in third place." I smiled, but I was too tired to talk.

A few minutes later, Coach Setlich found me again. She said Tracy got hurt and couldn't run, so she wanted me to take Tracy's place to run the medley relay race (混合接力赛跑). She told me the plan: Amanda and Cindy would run 100 meters each, Megan would run one lap (圈), and then I would run two laps, about 400 meters.

"Couldn't I run the shorter part?" I asked. Coach Setlich said no because the other girls in the relay team weren't good at running longer distances (距离).

I followed Coach Setlich to the track (跑道). Amanda gave me a sour smile.

Later, the race started. Amanda ran fast. And then, Cindy made our lead bigger. After that, Megan made our lead six meters long. I felt very nervous as I started running. But I stayed in the lead for the first lap. I could hear others cheering for me. But something was wrong. I tried to move my arms harder, but my legs didn't listen. I was breathing hard. Some runners passed me, and I fell at the finish line.

Amanda, Cindy and Megan helped me stand up. To my surprise, they still cheered for me. I also heard Coach Setlich say, "Usually when people go down, they don't get up again. Good job, Denny."

Our relay team had finished third. Winning isn't everything. Third place is still good.

I didn't do well in my studies before, but since I began to study at this school, things have changed. The teachers here are all kind and helpful. They always encourage me by saying, "I'm sure you can make it." These words really mean a lot to me. Now I'm one of the top students in my class.
