Every day, the little prince told me about his planet and travels. He shared slowly as ideas came. 

On the third day, he told me about the1 problem with baobab trees (猴面包树).

He asked me worriedly, "Sheep eat bushes (灌木), right?" 

"Yes, they do," I said. "Ah...Good," he replied. I didn't understand why this2 . Then he asked, "Do they eat baobabs, too?" 

I explained that baobabs are3 trees instead of little bushes. Even many elephants together couldn't eat one baobab tree.

The little prince's planet had many bad seeds: baobab seeds. The ground was9 of them. If you don't dig out a small baobab 10 , it becomes hard later. If the planet is small and has too many 11 , they can break it apart!

Everyone is happy on Saturday morning, but Tom isn't. He sits in front of a high fence. "Too bad! It's a nice Saturday morning but I must paint the fence. My friends are playing." 

Just then, he has an idea. He picks up his brush and starts to paint the fence slowly. 

His friend Ben is walking down the street and he is eating a big red apple. 

He sees Tom and says, "Tom, I'm going swimming."

Tom says, "I like it! I can go swimming every day, but I can't paint a fence every day."

Ben is surprised and he watches Tom paint slowly and carefully, and he often smiles. He looks happy and even sings songs. At this time, "Tom, let me paint a little," says Ben. 

Tom looks at Ben and says, "I'm really sorry, Ben, but Aunt Polly wants me to do it. You know, I'm very good at painting. My brother Sid wants to do it, but he's not good at painting." 

"Oh, Tom, let me try. You can have my apple." 

Tom is happy, but he doesn't smile. "OK, Ben." 

Then Tom's other friends come by. They watch Tom paint and they all want to try, too. They give Tom a new kite, a cat and an old knife. 

Tom's friends paint the big fence, and Tom just sits under the big tree and watches them.

Water Margin:   Water Margin is about a group of rebels who fight against bad rulers. They live in the mountains and go on daring adventures. This story shows that it's important to stand up for what's right and to work together as a team. 

Dream of the Red Chamber: This is a story about the life and love of a wealthy family.   There are beautiful gardens, grand parties, and lots of drama. The main character, Jia Baoyu, and his cousin, Lin Daiyu, have a special friendship. This story teaches us about family, love, and the ups and downs of life. 

  They show us brave heroes, great adventures, and important lessons about life. They're like magical windows into China's past, filled with fun and excitement! 

One day, a wolf   (walk) in the forest when he saw a rabbit eating grass under a tree. The wolf thought, "This rabbit will be my delicious meal." He   (quiet) walked towards the rabbit. 

When   wolf was about to catch the rabbit, the rabbit noticed him. But the rabbit wasn't afraid. He said to the wolf, "Mr. Wolf, you could not   (eat) me now." The wolf was surprised and asked, "Why?" The rabbit replied, "I'm much smaller   you, and I won't make you full. But there is another rabbit over there. He is   (big) one in this forest. You should go   (catch) him instead." 

The wolf believed   (he) words. He looked around and asked, "Where is that big rabbit?" The rabbit said, "I won't show you   you follow me." So the wolf followed the rabbit. They walked and walked. When the wolf realized he was fooled (愚弄), the rabbit had already run away. 

The rabbit hid in a hole safely. He thought, "I am so lucky to get away. I   (learn) a lesson from this experience: Thinking quickly can help me out of danger." 

It was a happy time for me, but there were many dangers because of my small size. There were some incidents (事件) that I remembered clearly. 

Every morning Glumdalclitch carried my box to the window. One day she carried me to the window as usual, and then she left me there. Some huge wasps came in through the window, and entered the box. They were the size of birds in England, and they were very fierce (凶猛的). I was afraid of them. I took out my sword and fought against them. I killed four of them. Luckily, the others flew away. 

Another dangerous moment that I remembered was this: Glumdalclitch left me in the garden one day, and the weather was very bad. First it rained, and then it hailed (下冰雹) very hard. The hailstones were the size of tennis balls, and they hurt me badly. I tried to hide under a tree, but I was still hit by some of them. 

Another danger came from an idea that the Queen had. She knew that I liked boats, and she ordered one of her servants to make a little boat for me. The servant put the boat into a tank of water on the table. I spent many hours in this boat. One day, however, a frog jumped into the boat. I thought the boat would sink, and I was afraid. I was lucky, and I managed to push the frog out of the boat.
