On January 28, 2025, a special performance called Yang BOT amazed audience at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, China's most-watched TV show. This show was directed by a famous (direct) Zhang Yimou. The robots' appearance on the stage left a deep impression  countless viewers, making people look forward to more connection of technology and culture in the future. 

In performance, robots dressed in colorful clothes and danced Yangko, a joyful traditional dance from northern China. They spun（旋转）handkerchiefs and formed creative group patterns. These robots  (develop) by Unitree（宇树科技）company in 2023. 

The robots learned how  (dance) through AI and used laser navigation（激光导航）to move safely on the stage.  (they) strong joints（关节）helped them balance perfectly during fast steps. Zhang Yimou explained, "This dance is not only for fun,  also shows technology connects new life with traditions. " Thanks to the development of technology, the robots(win) the hearts of millions. On social media, topics like" Robot Yangko" bocame popular (quick). Young viewers called it"cool" while older audiences loved its humor and festival spirit. The Yang BOT program is a perfect mix of China's technology and  (culture) pride. As a fan said, "It's like watching the future and past dance together!"

Careless mistakes used to bother me. I often thought they were just about" not being careful".  Overcaming（克服）these patterns needs a change in how we solve problems. 

 It is simply a part of being human. Accepting this cuts do wn my stress and lets me focus on improvement. 

Later, I decide to check my mistakes every day.  This turns mistakes into chances to learn. 

Next, I create checking lists for different subjects. For math, there are steps like checking answers and calculations. These checklists become my guides, helping me through my work. 

Taking breaks is important too. . This helps catch mistakes before they happen. 

What's more, I celebrate my improvements, no matter how small. This practice not only improves my confidence but also helps me stay focused on improving. 

Chen Honghan is a student from Nizhuhe village on the border of Yunnan and Guizhou in Southwest China. She used to walk for three hours through high, dangerous mountains to reach school. Her parents were always worried about her safety. Sometimes, she even thought of giving up on school. But now, thanks to the"cloud school bus", her journey has been reduced to a 30-minute trip, which feels like flying through the clouds. 

The change began in 2017. A tourism project led to the building of a cable car（缆车）and a lift to help people reach the top of the mountains. By 2022, these services were completed and became free for villagers. It's later called the"cloud school bus" because it makes the school journey safer and easier for students like Chen. The school's headteacher, Cui Ying, noticed an important improvement in the students' learning behavior since the journey became more convenient. 

The new project has also brought many tourists to t ho area. By 2024、Nizhuha had attracted 300, 000 visitors, making nearly 20 million yuan. This project has greatly improved the lives of the villagers, with many starting new businesses like coffee shops and hotels. 

Cai Xiong, who grew up here, helped develop the tourism project. "As a child growing up in the mountains. I never thought it was beautiful. All I saw were difficult mountain roads, and I just wanted to run away. But when I returned as an adult. I realized the beauty of the place, " said Cai. 

"This tourism project is not only meant to improve villagers' lives, but also to serve as a ladder（阶梯）to the clouds' for the children. I hope they will climb this ladder, gain experience and grow, and eventually return with the skills to make their hometown even better, " he said.

Thomas Dambo is a famous artist who creates large artworks from recycled materials and places them in nature. These artworks all look good in nature. . His most famous works are giant trolls （巨魔）, which can be found in forests and gardens around the world. 

Dambo, 45, grew up in Odense, Denmark. His father repaired bicycles, and his mother was a teacher and seamstress（女裁缝）. As a child, he enjoyed finding different recycled things to make art. "You can build anything out of anything if you just try it. " he said. 

Since 2011, Dambo has been a full-time recycling artist. His early works, including birdhouses and plastic animals, have used hundreds of pieces of recycled materials and can now be found in twenty countries around the world. 

One of his newest projects, Alexa's Elixir, is a six-piece fair in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. It includes five huge trolls made from 25 tons of wasted wood and a golden rabbit made from recycled plastic. These huge artworks were built with the help of 300 volunteers and are hidden in local parks for people to discover. Dambo hopes to place trolls in every U. S. state to encourage people to protect forests"The world is running out of resources and is full of rubbish. And my art shows that these two problems are each other's solutions, " said Dambo. If you are interested, you can find where Dambo'works are by visiting www. trollmap. com.

Huang Xuhua, the" father of China's nuclear submarines（核潜艇）", died at 99. He led an amazing life, serving the country through science and technology. 

Huang was born into  medical family in Haifeng, Guangdong. During  (he)childhood, the war brought great hardship and he saw how weak China was. This made him decide  (study) science to make China stronger. In 1958, he was chosen to lead China's nuclear submarine project. 

Although Huang and his team faced lots of difficulties, they still believed  nothing is impossible. They collected information from newspapers. "It is much  (hard) than we expected because it is really difficult to tell whether it was true or false. " Huang said. After creating five designs, they finally succeeded. Their project was one of the most challenging  (task) in Chinese engineering history. Through their efforts, China became the  (five) country to launch a nuclear submarine in 1970. 

Huang's name was kept secret until 1987. In his 90s, he still worked and shared knowledge young engineers. His first submarine  (work) for 40 years since its birth. 

Huang's life is an example of giving his all to the country. His spirits have encouraged countless people to follow his footsteps. His achievements should never  (forget) by us. 

One night, a 36-year-old man in Bangladesh met an elephant in front of his house.  This story shows a big problem: the conflict（冲突）between humans and elephants. 

 And during the same time, at least 124 wild elephants were killed. Almost half of the wild elephant population has been lost. Why is this happening?  As a result, they come to places where people live, and then bad things happen. 

However, there is some hope. The government wants to start an" Elephant Protection Project". The project will give money and supplies to teams that help elephants.  What's more, solar fences will be put up to stop elephants from coming into places where people live. If elephants damage farmers' crop（庄稼）, farmers will get money for the loss. 

This project could be a big step in saving the elephants in Bangladesh and making life better for both elephants and people. 

One unlucky day, I made a serious mistake. Attracted by a pack of hair ribbons（发带）in a store, I couldn't help stealing them. Immediately, a guard caught me in the act. He had a serious look on his face and shouted, "Come with me!" I was really frightened, and my heart was beating fast. 

In the store's office, he stared at me angrily and said, "Give it to me, or I' ll take it. What's your choice?" Shaking, I took out the ribbons from my jeans. "Please don't call my dad, " I said with tears. But he replied, "I'm calling the police, and they' ll tell your father. "

At the police station, fear and shame filled me. I kept thinking, "How could I be so stupid! I must let my father down!" When dad arrived, his sad, cold voice cut through me like a knife, "My daughter…a thief…"

Back home, dad sat me down. "Why did you do this?" he asked, and his eyes were filled with pain. I cried and told him everything. He listened silently and then said, "List all the things that you stole. This is your only chance to be forgiven（被原谅）。"

That summer, I worked hard to pay dad back. This experience was tough, but it taught me a valuable lesson about honesty. I' ll always remember this and stay on the right way. 

During this year's Spring Festival, Mount Tai in Shandong began using special robotic suits to help people hike. It is designed for elderly visitors or those who have difficulty in moving. The 1. 8-kilogram smart suits are worn around the waist（腰部）and legs. They use AI to sense movements and help users walk more easily so it can reduce tiredness and joint（关节）pain. 

Starting on January 29, ten suits were tested. Over 200 visitors paid about 70 yuan each time to try the suits during the holiday. Half of the tourists were elderly. A 68-year-old man said, "It felt like being pulled up the mountain, so my legs stopped hurting. " Officials said these suits allow elderly tourists to hike and see more views than cable cars, because they may cover up the views. 

The test was a success, and there's a big need for this kind of help. China's aging population is booming. 310 million people were over 60 in 2024, and the number will rise to over 400 million by 2035. To meet elderly users' need, tech companies will make lighter and smarter suits to help with walking and climbing. The government also supports this through new plans, like encouraging smart health care and cheaper tech for the elderly. 

As more old people will need help in the future, these suits can surely make it easier for the elderly to get around and enjoy lifc. 

For 500 years, the Tiefo Temple in Gaoping, Shanxi, has kept its amazing ancient sculptures（雕塑）a secret from the world. Things changed in August 2024. The temple was open to the public, thanks to the popular game BlackMyth:Wukong. 

Since then, thousands of tourists have come to see these special sculptures. After booking tickets online, they need to wait for hours just to see the sculptures for a few minutes. However, no one complained about it. The traditional sculptures are so amazing that people don't mind waiting. 

The temple's popularity shows Chinese people's growing love for cultural tourism. But it also raises an important question: How can we balance protection of historic sites and tourist development? The Tiefo Temple has set a good example. 

For one thing, the villagers tried their best to keep the sculptures' traditional looks. People like 78-year-old Wang Gaiying have taken care of the temple for a long time. Their efforts have kept the temple's historical value. For another, tourism has also helped the local community. While waiting in line, visitors can buy snacks, sit on chairs provided by villagers, or watch local performances. The village now offers guided tours, hotels, and cultural products. 

By caring for both its art and its people, the Tiefo Temple has become a model for cultural tourism in China. 

At 5 p. m. on November 18th, Exit A1 of Shenzhen University Underground Station was crowded with people. All of a sudden, a man fell down the escalator（自动扶梯）。

Xie Baoyu, the underground worker on duty, saw this. He was filled with1 . Without a second thought, he ran to the man and carefully moved him to a2 place. Right after that, he reported to the station's control office.
