Have you ever tried to hide your feelings from someone during a conversation? It's not always easy, as the colors on your face may tell the truth.

Scientists from the Ohio State University have found that people are able to tell other people's feelings according to changes in the color of their faces, The Guardian reported. Scientists studied pictures of people's facial expressions. They found that every facial expression has a special color mode. For example, happiness makes our faces red around the cheeks and temples (太阳穴) and a little blue around the chin (下巴). Disgust (厌恶) creates a blue-yellow color around the lips (嘴唇), but also a red-green color around the nose and forehead (前额).

"We believe these color patterns (图案) are because of small changes in blood flow (流动). It is controlled by the central nervous system." lead researcher Alex Martinez told The Guardian. But this raises the question: Is it the color alone, or also facial expressions, that help people tell others' feelings?

To find this out, scientists added color patterns to pictures of faces that showed no facial expressions. They asked volunteers to tell what emotions (情绪) the faces were showing. They were able to tell the emotion correctly 75 percent of the time.

This may explain why there are some Chinese sayings that connect feelings to the color of one's face. For example, when two people are heatedly arguing over something, we say they are     ▲     in the face. When a person is very angry, we'd say he or she is blue in the face.

What do you look like? Are you satisfied with your body? "I wish I had curly hair", "I'd like to be taller and . At times, we all want to look a bit more like someone else. However, the truth is that no two people in the world are  the same—and that's a good thing. Accepting and feeling good about  bodies is really important because we are more than how we look.

Body confidence means you accept your body and treat it with kindness. That includes your size and shape, skin color, look and any physical disabilities.

If you feel happy about your body, you are more likely to  care of it. Research has even  that you are more likely to take part in  and perform well at school. However, feeling worried about your body could  you do worse at school and even feel down. If you're  a lot of time trying to achieve the "perfect" look, you will have less time to spend with friends or to make valuable memories.

Try not to say bad things about your own body and other  bodies. Try not to pay much attention to looks. Instead, think about what your body does for you. Treat it well by eating different kinds of food,   to feel good and getting plenty of sleep.

Plastic pollution is a serious problem, and it's getting worse. Plastic can stay for a long time. Scientists are trying to create plastic that breaks down quickly, but the best way for now is to use less plastic. 

Stop using plastic bags. Instead, take your own reusable shopping bag to the store. Every year, people use tons of plastic bags worldwide.  Other countries make customers pay for them.

Say no to the straw (吸管). A study showed that around 8.3 billion plastic straws cover the world's beaches. So when you order a drink, say no to the straw, or bring your own reusable one.

Don't buy bottled water.  Around the world, nearly a million plastic bottles are thrown away every minute. The problem is so bad that in some countries, stores aren't allowed to sell bottled water any more.

 Most things you buy come in plastic packaging. It's almost everywhere. But there is something you can do, too: avoid fruit or vegetables packed in plastic.

Recycle what you can. You can't recycle all plastic things.  For example, you can recycle bottles and milk or juice bags. In some countries, machines take the bottles and give a little money back for each bottle.

Well, let's continue from where we stopped last time. As a parent, I'm sure you clearly know the dangers hidden online. And whether it's for schoolwork, entertainment, or just making friends, the Internet will surely be a main part of your children's life. So, it's important to secure*their online stays.

It's not an easy task, but keeping open communication is the key. Let them know they can share their online activities with you. Discuss what interests them online and learn about popular websites and apps from them. This will help you understand and find possible risks.

Next, don't spy (监视) your kids. Most kids want to be respected, like respecting others' personal space, or not opening the cookie jar (罐子) without asking. Internet use is no different. It's helpful to set clear rules for them, like which websites they can visit, which apps they can use, and what they can share online. Remind them that if they feel uneasy about anything that happens online, they need to tell an adult at once.

How you deal with your kids' Internet use will depend on their age. There are websites and search tools designed for younger children, such as YouTube Kids, which aims to provide a safe online experience for children. Older kids may be allowed more freedom since they want to make friends and need to use the Internet for information-gathering. So you can discuss with them and set strict rules for them.

Allowing your children to make good decisions online teaches them to be responsible for their behaviors, it also shows that you trust them, and reminds them that rules may be stricter if they don't follow them.
