Now I'm a middle school student. My parents have more time to take me on trips. Last summer, we went to Xi'an. We visited the Terracotta Army, the City Wall and many ancient temples. I learned a lot about Chinese history. This summer, we plan to go to Zhangjiajie to see the beautiful mountains.

I love traveling now. It not only makes me happy but also opens my eyes. I hope to visit more places in the future.

My Happy Summer Vacation

Last summer, I went to Qingdao with my parents. Qingdao is a beautiful coastal city in Shandong Province. We took a train there and it took us about 6 hours.

When we arrived, we first checked into a hotel near the beach. The next day, we went to the beach. The sea was blue and the sand was soft. I swam in the sea and played beach volleyball with my parents. We also tried some delicious seafood, like prawns and crabs.

On the third day, we visited Qingdao Polar Ocean World. We saw many kinds of sea animals, such as penguins, dolphins and sharks. The dolphin show was really exciting. We took a lot of photos there.

On the last day, we went shopping and bought some souvenirs for our friends. We had a wonderful time in Qingdao and I hope to go there again.

Last weekend, I went camping with my best friends, Lily and Tom. We1 early in the morning and took a bus to the countryside. The weather was2 and the air was fresh. We set up our tent near a small lake.
