Healthy eating doesn't just mean what you eat, but how you eat. Here is some advice on healthy eating.

Eat with others. It can help you to see others' healthy eating habits. If you usually eat with your parents,you will find the food you eat is more delicious.

Listen to your body. Ask yourself if you are really hungry. Have a glass of water to see if you are thirsty—sometimes you are just thirsty, and you need no food. Stop eating before you feel full.

Eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Since you haven't eaten for the past ten hours, your body needs food to get you going, so you must eat something for breakfast. You will be smarter after eating breakfast.

Eat healthy snacks like fruit, yogurt or cheese. We all need snacks sometimes. In fact, it is a good idea to eat two healthy snacks between your three meals. This doesn't mean you can eat a bag of chips.

Don't eat dinner late. With our busy life, we always put off eating dinner until the last minute. You'd better eat dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed. This will give your body a chance to digest most of the food before you rest for the next 8-10 hours.

Computer injuries(伤害) do not happen suddenly, but such situations can happen slowly. Here are some helpful suggestions for you to learn to use a computer safely.

Your eyes

When you use computers, your eyes should be at least 50 cm from the screen. Remember to look away from it sometimes. This can give your eyes a rest.

If there is a window around you, the window should be on your left or your right. If it is behind you, the light will reflect(反射) on the screen. If the window is in front of you, the sun and the screen will both shine into your eyes. 

Your hands and wrists(手腕)

If you use a keyboard(键盘) for a long time, follow these three rules: Rest your wrists on something; keep your elbows at the same height as the keyboard and stop sometimes to exercise your hands and wrists in a different way.

Your back

If you sit for many hours in front of a computer in the wrong way, it's more possible for you to injure your back or neck. So you should sit with your back straight while using it. The top part of the screen should be in front of your eyes. If you sit for a long time, you'd better get up every half an hour and exercise your arms, legs and neck.

Enjoy your computer, but use it safely.

Zhao Yiyi was born in Hong Kong, and now studies and lives in California, the US. Zhao did something amazing. The book came out in June 2023.

Patience(耐心) is important too, according to Zhao. When it goes away, she reads a book or goes outside to see different things in nature. She just waits for it to come to her again!
