Ao Xue is a fantastic snow leopard (雪豹) from a wildlife park in Xining. This year, she celebrated her ninth birthday.

Snow leopards are large animals. They are more than one metre long and can (weight) up to 75 kg. These beautiful animals live in high and cold mountains. They might get sick in the zoo the air and temperature are different there.

(actual), workers and scientists once tried raising (饲养) seven baby snow leopards before Ao Xue, but all of (they) died. The result made the workers and scientists very (disappoint).
