Technological inventions play an important part in our daily lives.

Tea is popular in many countries. It has a long history of more than two years. At first, people  tea as a good thing to make them awake. Many people thought it was helpful for their study,  their minds could keep awake after drinking some tea. In Tang Dynasty, tea was sent to European countries the Silk Road. It was tea that made Chinese culture over in the Western countries.

Nowadays, tea has  the most comfortable drink in France. People in England believe that tea is good for  skin and health. Lots of Chinese look on tea as one of the most popular presents  they give to others during important festivals. Young people like to choose a  environment to enjoy tea. Drinking tea becomes of their daily life. What do you think of it?

①Lake Victoria is the largest lake in Africa and the second largest freshwater lake in the world. Lake Victoria not only is beautiful but also provides a source(源头) of water, food and power for several African countries. However, the lake has been polluted seriously. People there worry about the problem and take action to protect it. James Kateeba is one of them.

②James Kateeba lives in Uganda, a country next to Lake Victoria. His job is to show tourists around Uganda. He found that during the rainy season, there is a lot of plastic waste floating(漂浮) on Lake Victoria. It not only pollutes the environment but also influences the local fishing industry(工业). 

③James Kateeba wanted to do something for Lake Victoria. Mr. Kateeba watched some fishermen building boats. Suddenly, he came up with an idea. He decided to make his own boat. And his boat is not like traditional wooden boats. His boat is made of recycled things, and it became a recycling project later.

④In 2007, James asked fishermen to collect plastic bottles for some money. They tied the bottles to nets(网) to make a special boat that could float on the water. Mr. Kateeba put soil over the bottles and built a garden. Then he added the board. Tourists like his boat for its rich plants, food and drinks. Today, the boat, marketed(营销) as the Floating Island, can comfortably serve 100 visitors at a time.

⑤Mr. Kateeba isn't the only one who wants to clean up. Local environmental workers also offered money to fishermen to collect all the bottles they caught in their nets.

①Many social media(社交媒体) articles would make you believe that everyone is happy all the time. However, being happy all the time is not possible.

②Sometimes, you might have high expectations(期望). You probably expected to get a perfect score on an exam or to be chosen for a sports team, but it didn't happen. Bad results get you down. In fact, sadness itself is not bad—it can drive you to work hard and feel better the next time.

③However, when sadness doesn't go away and you feel sad for a long time, it will influence your daily life. I remember feeling this way when my dog died. It happened on the day of my ninth birthday. I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. I didn't want to study or go out with my friends. I was so sad that I had no courage to face the real world. I stopped doing things I enjoyed, and then isolated myself from others. I didn't get better until my family told me that my dog would have wanted me to be happy. That day, my parents and I made an agreement to live a good life.

④Depression(抑郁) is not a sign of weakness. If you sometimes feel sad, it may mean you need more attention and support. It's important to reach out to more people. When you feel down, you must not shut yourself away from the world. Instead, share your feelings with people who care you, such as your parents or your friends. Remember, you are not alone. This is a way to feel better.
