Chinese acrobatics are not only a show of physical flexibility(灵活性) and control but also an art form with a long history. Wuqiao County(县) in Hebei Province is the heart of Chinese acrobatics. 

The area's acrobatic tradition dates back over 2, 800 years. Many acrobats have kept it alive by passing down their great skills. They have also created new acts by mixing other art forms and adding new tools. For example, after the bicycle was introduced to China, acrobats connected acrobatics with the"pagoda of bowls". They learned to catch stacks of(一摞) bowls on their heads while riding. 

In the early 20th century, many Wuqiao acrobats began to perform abroad. In 1921, Sun Fuyou formed a group of over 100 performers. He led this group to perform in more than 30 countries and areas over the years. Their shows were warmly welcomed, leading to the widespread popularity of this folk art. 

Wuqiao shaped acrobatics, and in turn, acrobatics changed Wuqiao. As the art form became popular all over the world, the local government started the"China Wuqiao International Acrobatics Art Festival" in 

1987. This event, held every two years, attracts top acrobats from around the world to show their amazing skills. In1993, the county opened Wuqiao Acrobatics World, a theme park, aiming to show this art. Every year, lots of tourists come to enjoy live shows and even try the art themselves. 

Today, acrobatics have deeply entered the lives of the local people. As the local saying goes, "In Wuqiao, almost everyone, from little kids to 99-year-olds, has acrobatic skills. " The county has introduced acrobatics into schools since 2017, with over 30, 000 students taking part in its protection. In recent years, local acrobatic schools have seen an increase in applications. And it's not just Chinese students but foreign learners as well. Hundreds of students from abroad have trained in Wuqiao and brought this art back to their countries. 

Longquan celadon is a very special kind of Chinese pottery with a long history. It is known for its beautiful   and looks. The firing technology of the ceramic(陶瓷艺术)was listed as an item of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 

2009. It fully shows the great   of Longquan celadon. 

Longquan celadon first   in Longquan, Zhejiang Province. This ancient skill began in the Jin Dynasty and became very popular during the Southern Song and early Yuan Dynasty. 

In the past, Longquan celadon   to many places in Asia and the Middle East. Longquan celadon is   classified into two kiln(窑) styles: Geyao Kiln and Diyao Kiln. According to a story, these names came from two brothers named Zhang who were good at making ceramics. 

Making one piece of Longquan celadon   nine steps. When it was at its most popular, there were more than 300 kilns in Longquan. Many people liked this kind of celadon very much. 

However, during the Ming Dynasty, the craft(工艺) became   popular because it was harder to sell abroad. In the 1950s, the government encouraged local artists to bring back the skill. From then on, Longquan celadon has kept   in modern times. 

Today, this traditional skill is still alive. Skilled artists keep the old tradition alive in   own ways. Many beautiful works have been shown at big international events, such as the G20 Summit in Hangzhou and the Belt and Road Forum in Beijing. Now, people all over the world have the chance   this beautiful art. 

 If we look for a plant that represents(代表) Chinese culture, we might list many plants. But if we also need the plant to be very useful, bamboo is probably the best choice. 

Bamboo is everywhere in the Chinese people's lives. In the past, people used it to make books, pens, walking sticks, and so on. Bamboo shoots(竹笋) are eaten as food. Bamboo played an important part in many aspects of ancient people's lives. Even now, bamboo is used to make many everyday things like chopsticks, baskets, hats and flutes(笛子). Scientist Joseph Needham even called Asian culture"the bamboo civilization(文明)". 

Besides, ancient Chinese scholars loved bamboo. The great poet Li Bai admired its straight and tall growth, and it wouldn't bend easily like an honest man. After the Song Dynasty, bamboo became a symbol of a good gentleman. Su Shi, praised bamboo as a gentleman in many of his poems and paintings. 

Bamboo is also very important for music in China. Many traditional Chinese wind instruments were made of bamboo. Some experts think the sound of the first bamboo instrument might have come from the sound of burning bamboo. When it burns, the air inside expands(膨胀), and it makes a loud noise. This may have inspired people to make the simple bamboo flute. Today, there are still many types of flutes, like very long flutes played by several people together, very short ones only 4-5cm long, special ones with only one hole, and paired flutes used in Yunnan. From ancient flutes to modern instruments, bamboo's clean sound has been part of Chinese history for centuries. 

In a word, bamboo truly represents Chinese culture in many ways, from daily life to cultural symbols and music materials, and it will continue to shine in the future. 

Living in a new country is not easy, but not for me. My 1 in China are not only about learning but also about kindness.

Song Limei used to work in Daqing oilfields. Now, she creates amazing wheat-straw paintings. Her works show oilfield scenes that   for many fellow workers. 

She started to be interested in an old family artwork found by her mother when she was only 10 years old, though its color had faded. It was a wheat-straw painting   through generations, possibly made by her grandparents. 

While working in the oilfields, Song began making wheat-straw paintings  "It's similar to painting, " she explained, "but you must work with the straw's natural patterns. By using different cutting and gluing methods,    she could create color changes in different lights.     Though difficult,    the results had  . "

Song practiced carefully, which helped her     . In 2019, she made a special work honoring"Iron Man" Wang Jinxi. Now she teaches this art to people of all ages, hoping to share its beauty:"I hope more people know and love this art through my work. "
