Clubs are an important part of middle school life. They help students develop their talents and learn new skills. When students join a club, they learn to work with others and make new friends. For example, in a drama club, students become more confident by speaking and acting in front of people. In a science club, students do experiments and learn to think creatively.

My Swimming Club Experience

I joined the swimming club last summer. Before that, I was afraid of water and couldn't swim at all. The coach taught me step by step: first, how to float on the water, then how to kick my legs and move my arms. After two months of practice, I could swim 50 meters. Now I can swim 200 meters easily.

I go to the club every Saturday morning. I've made many friends there. We swim together and sometimes play water games. Swimming makes me stronger and happier. I'm so glad I joined the club!
