Fashion brand "JUMA" recently showed its newest clothes in Shanghai.All of them were made from recycled plastic bottles.Alia Juma.the company's designer，said： "We saw too many water bottles being thrown away.They take hundreds of years to break down.So we decided to use them to make clothes."
How do they do it？Here are the steps.First，workers wash the bottles and cut them into small pieces.Then，the pieces are shaped into small balls.
After that，these balls are melted （熔化） again to become thread （线）.Finally，the thread is used to make different kinds of clothes.
According to Juma，this new way helps protect our planet in many ways.For example，it can save 6.2 tons of water.
Some people may worry about wearing plastic clothes.But in fact，the plastic thread feels very soft，just like cotton，silk，or even wool.This kind of clothes is bringing a greener future for fashion.

Among the four seasons，one season stands out as the only one with two names：autumn and fall.Why is this？The answer is a mix of history，language and culture.
Harvest
Long ago，this season was called "harvest （丰收）".This is because it was time to gather crops （庄稼）.But as more people moved to cities， "harvest" became just about farming，not the season itself.People started using "autumn" and "fall" more.
Autumn
The word "autumn" comes from the Latin （拉丁语） word "autumnus".In the past，Romans used it to name the time when early rains began.Over time， "autumnus" changed to different words in different countries.Finally， "autumn" became a common word in English.
Fall
In the 16th century，people in England used "fall of the leaf" and "fall of the year" to name this season.Finally，they shortened （缩短） them to "fall".During the 17th century，English people moved to America.They brought both "fall" and "autumn" with them.Because "fall" was easier to say，it became more popular.
Today，people in the UK and the US use both words.In the US， "fall" is more common.But in the UK，it's the other way around.

Tejasvi Manoj is a seventeen-year-old girl. Last year, her grandfather got  email. Someone wrote it, saying he was a member in (he) family and asked for $2,

000. Her grandfather felt very strange,  he called his son first and finally found it was not true.

Tejasvi felt very angry about this. She learned many old people had the same problem. She decided (make) a website to help the people over sixty and named it"Shield Seniors".

How to Understand Your Parents Better

Sometimes it feels like you and your parents have different opinions. But getting along well with them isn't so difficult. 

●Listen more, argue less. When your parents are talking, try to listen instead of just arguing. Try to understand why they think that way.

●  Why not help with cooking, go for a walk, or even watch a movie? You might be surprised at how much fun you can have when you do things with your parents.

● Say"thank you" often.Parents do a lot for us every day. Tell them you know that and express it. 

•Talk about your world. Parents want to know what's happening in your life. Try to talk with them often.  It helps them feel closer to you.

In July 2025, a heavy rain hit Yuzhong, Gansu, and there were serious floods. Many houses fell down, and families had to leave their homes. For the kids there, floods left fear and sadness in their hearts. Luckily, a team of psychologists(心理学家) came after floods at once.

After arriving, they found many kids stayed quiet and didn't want to play. Some even cried at night, afraid of the rain. To help them, the team set up a" Heart Corner" with toys, picture books and drawing paper.

Ms. Wang, one of the psychologists, mainly looked after the little kids. She put on a puppet show(木偶戏) about a rabbit in a flood. After watching it, a 6-year-old boy said," The rabbit was scared, just like me when the water came into my house." Ms. Wang hugged him and encouraged him to share his feelings bravely. The boy then talked more and felt more relaxed.

For older kids, the team held group sharing activities. They asked the children to draw their "hope for new home." A girl drew a bright house with a garden, saying, "I hope my home can come back soon, and I enjoy planting flowers there." The psychologists showed love for the drawing and it became sunny in her heart.

A mother said, "My son used to wake up crying every night. Now he laughs again, thanks to these kind psychologists——they are real heroes for our kids."

At a primary school in the UK, Grade 6 students are learning science in an exciting new way. They use iPads to follow lessons made by AI. Some learn about plants, while others study the human body.

This school is early to use AI in class. It helps find out what students are good at and what they need to practice more. Everyone— students, teachers, and parents— can see the students' learning progress. Students can even click emojis(表情包) to show their feelings about a lesson. Once, a boy felt confused about a grammar lesson. AI noticed his emoji and made the lesson slower and easier for him.

AI does more than just help with schoolwork. It can also watch how a child taps the screen. By doing this, it can tell if a child might have autism(自闭症).

Students still read paper books and write with pens. But they love this new way of learning. They can learn anytime, anywhere. A student named Max says that the best part is how AI makes him learn more and faster, making learning more fun.
