Hello, my name is Bill. I'm 13 years old. I have two good (friend). They are Eric and Dave, and they' re twelve years old. We' re in the same school, not in the same class. We like basketball and we can play it well. It's fun and (excite)to play basketball. The school's basketball game is  October 4th. We(real) like it. 

Next week is Dave's birthday. I want to buy  blue cap for Dave. He likes blue. It's about ten dollars. How about Eric? He says he wants to buy a pair of sports(sock) for Dave. They' re about eight dollars. Next to (we) school is Ms White' s Clothes Store. Things in it(be) nice. Eric and I will go to the store (buy) some things after school. 

Today is Alice's mother's birthday. Alice is going to have a party to (庆祝)her mother's birthday. First, she needs to prepare (某物) for the party. She writes down what she needs to buy on the shopping (清单) and goes shopping after breakfast. 

There are many things on (出售) in the shop. She takes some food, like(酸奶),(巧克力) and fruit. At the corner, she sees many coloured (气球) and decides to take some to decorate(装饰) the house. And on her way home, she (买) a big cake. 

Alice doesn't tell her mother about the party because she wants to give her a(惊喜). But her mother forgets(忘记) her own birthday. She comes back with a(比萨饼). It's really fun. Everyone laughs. It doesn't matter. They eat it up happily!

It's Father Monkey's birthday. "How about making a(n)1 cake for your dad?" MotherMonkey asks. 

"That's 2 . Dad likes fruit cakes, " Baby Monkey says. 

"We have sugar and flour, 3 we still need some bananas and eggs. Can you 4 some?"Mother Monkey asks. 

"OK!" Baby Monkey says and leaves home. 

First, Baby Monkey 5 a banana tree. "Wow, the bananas look 6 . Let me get four, "he says. 

"Stop(停止)!" Mr Gorilla calls. 

"Sorry. I 7 to make a banana cake. Can you give me some bananas?" Baby Monkey asks. 

"Can I 8 a piece of cake?" Mr Gorilla asks. 

Baby Monkey says, "9 . " So Mr Gorilla gives him four bananas. Then Baby Monkey sees some 10 and wants to take some. At this time, Ms Hen calls, "Hey! Those are 11 . "

"Sorry, can I have five eggs for a birthday cake?" Baby Monkey asks. 

"Can I have your cake?" Ms Hen asks. "Of course!" Baby Monkey says and takes five eggs. 

In the evening, the 12 "friends" come to Baby Monkey's home. Mr Gorilla asks, "13 is the cake?""We give Baby Monkey bananas and eggs, " Ms Hen says.

    ①In many countries, people love to eat sweet food on birthdays. But in Australia and New Zealand, kids have a special food called Fairy Bread(仙女面包)for their birthdays. 

②Fairy Bread is easy to make. It's white bread with butter on the top. Then, colourful tiny sugar bits called sprinkles(糖屑) are put all over it. People cut the bread into triangles(三角形). Kids really like it at birthday parties. 

③No one knows exactly where Fairy Bread came from. A long time ago, a newspaper in Tasmania talked about it. Some people think the name might come from a poem(诗) written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1885. The poem had the same name as the food. 

④There is a similar kind of food in Holland called Hagelslag. It's bread with chocolate on it. But Hagelslag isn't just for birthdays; you can enjoy it at any time you want. Yummy!

I'm Ben. Look! Here is  nice photo of my family. Six people are my family: my grandparents, my (parent), my twin sister Jenny and me. My mother is a clerk at a clothes store. She (like) nice clothes and she has many clothes. My father is a teacher in a middle school. Basketball is my (father) favourite sport. He thinks it is (interest), and he plays basketball very(good). My grandmother likes cooking(烹饪), and she cooks good food for(we) family. My grandfather likes music. Jenny likes reading very much. She has many (book). And the boy is me. Look, my bag is blue. My cup is blue too. I like blue things  blue is my favourite colour. We are very happy. 

Mrs Green is from Sydney, Australia. She and her (丈夫) live in Hangzhou now. They (两个都) work in a middle school. Mrs Green is an English teacher and Mr Green is a PE teacher. They work very hard at school every day. After work, they like different (活动). Mrs Green likes music very much. She can play the piano(非常) well. She often (花费) about 30 minutes playing the piano before dinner. Mr Green likes ping-pong very much. He has three ping-pong(球拍). After work, he and his friends often play ping-pong (在一起). On weekends(周末), Mr and Mrs Green often go (钓鱼). Mrs Green doesn't like fishing. But she does that with Mr Green (因为) family means everything to her.
