Australia is a beautiful travelling country with special animals and natural sights.

First, Australia has world-famous special animals. Kangaroos and koalas only live here. Thousands of tourists come every year just to see these cute animals.

Second, Australia owns thousands of clean beaches. The seawater is clear and bright blue. 

Visitors can swim, surf or take slow walks along the coast.

Last summer holiday, I travelled to a seaside city with my best friend Lucy. This was our first trip together and we enjoyed every minute.

The weather was sunny and cool each day. We walked along the beach in the early morning, watched the sea and took hundreds of photos. In the afternoon, we visited city parks and tried lots of local delicious food.

We helped and understood each other the whole trip. When I was tired, Lucy encouraged me to keep going. When Lucy lost her way, I checked the map and led her back. We shared our dreams, worries and school stories all night.

This trip made our friendship much stronger. We learned to care for and respect each other better. I will keep this wonderful memory forever. I hope we can travel together again next holiday.

I think honesty is the most important quality between friends. If my friend often tells lies, I cannot believe him anymore. Real friends share true feelings and never hide secrets from each other. Honest friendship can last many years.

For me, a good friend must be patient and ready to help. Everyone meets troubles in study and daily life. A true friend will not leave you alone when you are upset. He helps you work out problems and cheers you up.

I believe friends grow together with courage. We may meet failures and sadness. A true friend gives you confidence to face all difficulties. With him, we become braver and more confident little by little.

Friendship is one of the most important things in our life. No one can live a happy life without true friends. But what is true friendship?

True friendship is not about expensive gifts or daily playtime. It is built on trust and care. A true friend is honest. He will never lie or hurt you on purpose. He tells you the truth even when you do not want to hear it.

A true friend stays beside you during hard times. When you are in trouble, he gives you a hand. When you feel sad, he comforts you patiently. He watches over you and pushes you to become a better person.

Good friendship takes time and effort. We need to be honest, caring and patient if we want long-lasting friendship. True friendship warms our whole life and makes it meaningful.

Miss Wang is our English teacher. She is a young woman of medium height with long straight hair. She is one of the most popular teachers in our school. She has many good personal qualities.

Miss Wang is very patient with all her students. No matter how many times we ask simple questions, she never feels bored. She always explains knowledge slowly and clearly. She is also caring and kind. She cares about not only our study but also our daily life. When we are upset or stressed about study, she will talk with us and cheer us up.

She is confident and full of courage in her work. She always tries new teaching ways to make our classes lively and interesting. With her help, many students improve their English quickly.

All of us trust and respect Miss Wang. She teaches us not only English knowledge but also how to be a kind and helpful person. She is not only our teacher but also our good friend.

Everyone needs friends. True friendship makes our life 1 and colorful. I have two best friends, Tom and Amy. We have been good friends since Grade Seven.

Tom is an honest and brave boy. He is confident and good at 2 different problems. When I feel upset or meet difficulties, he always encourages me and gives me useful3 . He never laughs at me and always watches4 me quietly.

Every traveler in China knows Xu Xiake. Xu Xiake was a Chinese travel  (write) and geographer of the Ming Dynasty. He was best known  his important travel works, which gave clear descriptions of many different places. He traveled around China for more than 30 years, exploring different landscapes and cultures. The records (记录) of his travels were collected in a book called Xu Xiake's Travels.

Xu Xiake was born in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province as  second son in his family. His mother encouraged him to travel, which greatly shaped Xu's character. His father taught him to read widely and be a learned man. Following his father's suggestion, Xu Xiake began to read books very  (careful), and he had a great memory. The books at home could not meet his needs,  he began to collect more books and also bought some.

You are so interested in the new thing that you go home and try your best to find more about it. So, you see, museums can also help us learn outside school.
