I have three children and I often make them do housework. However, their father doesn't agree with me.

There are five people in my family. I think each member should help with chores. When they get up, I always ask them to make the bed. At the end of the day, after they finish playing with their toys, I ask them to put the toys away. It's not difficult for them. I expect my children to set the table at night and help fold their own clothes. I don't think I'm asking too much. 

I know they are tired after a long day's study at school. Some children depend on their parents too much, and some parents also think it is a waste of time for children to do housework. They hope their children can spend all the time on their study. In my opinion, doing housework is a good way to relax and help them to study better.

I wanted to find out how the children in my class help at home, so I did a survey(调查). First,I chose four typical chores. Then I asked 5 boys and 7 girls the questions and got their answers. I showed the results in two different ways: the pie chart(饼图) and the bar chart(条形图).

Animals are our friends. We share the same world with them. But many kinds of animals are in danger for many reasons. 

The blue whale is one of them. Blue whales are  largest animals in the world. They (usual) feed on small fish in the ocean. Now they are in danger because(they) living environment is getting bad. First, some people make their ocean home dirty. Second, some people kill them 2 their meat. Third, there is more and more man-made noise in the sea. It (make) it hard for blue whales to talk with each other. Because of these, there are (few) blue whales than before. 

The sloth(树懒) is another one. Sloths are the world's (slow) moving animals in the world. They mainly live in South America. They are funny, lots of people like them very much. Sloths spend so much time (stay) in the trees. They are also in danger because people cut down too many trees in the forest. Sloths will have no place (live) in if we don't do anything for them. 

Now it's time for us to do something to protect them. 

Growing plants is easy and fun. Growing sunflowers will give you a feeling of joy! Here are some tips in planting sunflowers. 

★Step 1: Put some soil(土壤) in a small pot. Make a hole 2cm deep with your finger. 

Step 2: Put one seed(种子) in the hole. Put soil over the seed. Put the pot by a sunny window. 

★Step 3: Water it every one or two days with just a little water. 

★Step 4: Leaves start to grow after one or two weeks. 

★Step 5: When your sunflower is about 10 cm tall, it's ready to put it into a bigger pot. 

★Step 6: Fill a big pot with soil and make a hole. Carefully take the sunflower out of the small pot and put it in the hole. Fill the hole with soil and water it. 

★Step 7: As your plant gets taller, put a stick(棍) into the soil next to the stem(茎). Tie the stem to the stick. 

★Step 8: You can measure your plant every week to see how much it grows! The flower starts to grow after about eight weeks. 

★Step 9: After the yellow flower turns brown, wait for the seeds to dry, and it may need four weeks. 

★Step 10: When the seeds are brown, make them out. You can eat them as a snack or in a salad. How delicious!
