Citywalk is becoming a new travel fashion for the youth in China who are exploring cultural spots（景点）. Unlike traditional travel, it aims to avoid famous tourist spots and large crowds to get a better experience. 

Many young people enjoy gathering a couple of good friends and hanging out in the streets when they visit a new city. They can follow a typical city route（路线）, exploring old buildings, going window-shopping, drinking a cup of coffee, or enjoying local snacks. 

In order to show their Citywalk, more and more people prefer to share their experiences and thoughts through social media. Xiao Yiyi, a young guide in Changsha, recently shared six Citywalk routes of different cities on the Internet, providing experiences for visitors to "walk in open-air museums". Her Changsha travel route includes more unusual sights such as historical buildings, old streets, and even some snack bars. 

Citywalk is spreading from the largest cities to smaller ones, encouraging more travelers and event organizers to join. Some places, such as Beijing and Shandong, have included Citywalk in their plans to develop cultural tourism and relaxing tours. Some government of the cities are also taking steps to help people citywalk in their cities. For example, Shanghai has set up Citywalk bus routes to help day-trippers reach more faraway areas first, and then continue on foot. 

Citywalk not only offers a way for young people to explore a city but also provides them with a new social situation, where they can share their interests and ideas and make friends easily. What's more, Citywalk provides an opportunity for tour guides and travel companies to offer a more professional service to meet the ever-changing market requirements. 

When my grandfather was a boy, he liked writing with a fountain pen very much. His first short story was  with a silver fountain pen. It was a gift from his mother for his  birthday. His name is still on the pen. It is shining just like gold!

In an old photo, my grandfather is dressed a school uniform. You can see the pen through the front pocket of his shirt. It seems  he was always with his pen. He kept writing with this pen. As a result, no one was  when Grandfather became a writer. So far, he has finished over sixty story books. People all over the world  his stories, including me. His stories are full of fun and excitement. 

Last month, my parents and I visited Grandfather. It was an exciting time for us. One day, Grandfather showed  his writing desk and I was happy to have a chance to touch it. On the last day of our visit, my grandfather asked me to close my eyes. I was confused and wondered  he did this. But I still did as he said. Gently and  , he put his pen in my hands. Tears filled my eyes. At that moment I decided to be a writer, too. 

I will never forget the I felt with my grandfather that day. It is one of the most important memories of my life. 

①All around the world, buildings are going green! People are making green buildings. What does it mean to go green or to make a green building? A green building is designed（设计）in a way that is not harmful to the environment. The building uses energy, water, and other materials in ways that are good for the environment. 

②When planning green buildings, architects（建筑师）must think about how to use energy, water, and materials in an environment-friendly way. ▲ Architects can design buildings to use natural light. Buildings can also be made with solar or wind power to get energy from the sun or the wind. To save water, green buildings can have areas on the roofs to collect rainwater. Kitchens and bathrooms can have sinks（洗池）and toilets that conserve water. As for the materials used to build the building, it is important to use materials that do not have chemicals that are harmful to the air or water. Recycled materials can also be used for buildings. 

③Buildings around the world use all three of these ways to go green. An office building called CH2 in Melbourne, Australia, uses wind and solar power. A cultural center in London, England, is made from recycled train cars and is powered by solar and wind power. The Academy of Sciences building in California in the U. S. has recycled materials, solar energy, and a huge "living roof" of plants. A temple in Thailand is made out of one million recycled glass bottles! This is a good use of recycled material, and it also lets natural light into the temple. 

④More and more green buildings are being built and they are making the world a better place!
