Nowadays, people pay great attention to keeping healthy

China has fewer very fat people compared to many other western countries. The reason behind this is traditional Chinese diet（饮食）. Why is the Chinese diet so good for health?

A traditional Chinese diet is heavy on vegetables. The Chinese enjoy eating fresh and healthy vegetables, such as snow peas, carrots, and green beans. These vegetables are good for the body and can even help in fighting illnesses. What's more, vegetables are low in calories（卡路里）. That shows the best choice to control the calories you take in at a meal. 

Compared to some other countries, Chinese meals don't end with high-calorie food like cakes. Sometimes, at the end of a Chinese meal, we may drink some soup, like tofu soup. These soups are usually much lower in calories. The choice of drinks is also important in weight control. In many western countries, sugary cola drinks and energy drinks are popular. But in China, people have drunk tea for more than 3, 000 years. Drinking tea can help burn calories and can also help us fight off illnesses. 

Besides, Chinese people don't eat much fast food, so there are fewer fat people. In America, people like eating fast food best. This leads to them eating far more calories. 

All these points add up to the traditional Chinese diet being a healthy one. Let's stay healthy. 

Disney is a big family. It has a lot of cartoon stars such as Superman and Mickey Mouse. Donald Duck is the most bad-tempered（坏脾气）one , but it has got lots of  around the world during these years. This year, Donald Duck will  his 91st birthday.

People have used onions to add flavor（味道）to their foods for thousands of years. Onions taste great and they have special chemicals（化学物质）to help you fight off illnesses. 

As we all know that it's difficult to cut an onion without your eyes filling with tears! When you cut into an onion, irritating（刺激性的）chemicals inside the onion will get into the air. They touch your eyes and cause tears. These tears help you wash away the chemicals and protect your eyes. 

Luckily, here are some ways to keep you from crying when you cut up onions:

● ▲ The water will wash away the chemicals before reaching your eyes. 

● Use a fan to blow air over the onion as you cut it. The air will blow the chemicals away. 

● Put the onion in a fridge for an hour before cutting. This helps make the chemicals in the onion move slowly, so they may not reach your eyes. 

If you try out these good ideas and still cry while cutting onions, don't worry. Cut more onions, and your body will become more resilient to the onion's chemicals. So the tears will not last long. If you think about how healthy onions are, you might even call those tears" happy tears". 

I'm a school student and I used to hate geography lessons. There were too many names of places to remember and I found these lessons very1 . Sometimes I even secretly read other books in geography classes, but a(n)2 to Europe with my family changed my feeling of geography lessons.
