At the end of 2023, Hefei held a marathon. Among so many runners, an elderly couple caught the attention (注意) of many. They were 86-year-old Hu Yingfu and 77-year-old Wang Zhangmin. Hu finished the half marathon in 2 hours and 21 minutes, and his wife, Wang finished in 2 hours and 23 minutes.

In fact, this wasn't the first time that the couple had taken part in a running race. In 1997, the couple joined a running community(社区). At first, they started running to keep fit. But over time, they found it was a relaxing sport and became more interested in it. In 2004, they took part in a race for the elderly. And to their surprise, Wang won the fourth place.

In April 2011, the couple successfully finished their first half marathon in Yangzhou. In December of the same year, they finished the full marathon in Shanghai. At that time, Hu was 74 years old, and Wang was 65.

Since then, the couple have started their "marathon journey". Over the next ten years, they have taken part in races across the country every year. And they have completed more than 100 marathon races.

For years, they have been running 10,000 meters every day. They have covered over 40,000 kilometers and won more than 200 medals in many sports events.Through running, the couple have made friends with other runners. And influenced by them, more and more young people have joined the running community.

My father, Peter, used to be a cheerful and carefree man. However, he had three bad years after divorcing my mother. He often felt sad and lost.

One morning, my dad thought to himself, "I'm not going to have another bad year." So he made small but important changes in his life. He started to play happy music every morning, went back to school to learn new skills and found a better job. He also started doing exercise and spent a lot of time with his friends. Slowly, he became happier again.

As a young teenager, I learned an important lesson from him: Happiness is a choice. It doesn't come from trying to make other people pleased. It comes from the things we do every day. A happy life is built on positive experiences that make us feel fulfilled（有成就感的）. In fact, there are also many other ways to be happier.

• Spend time with loved ones. Being close to family and friends is one of the best ways to feel happy. You can try spending time with your friends or parents.

• Get enough sleep. Studies show that sleeping 7 to 9 hours each night helps improve mood.

• Stay active. You don't need long workouts—even 15 minutes of exercise a day can make you feel better.

• Help others. Doing kind things like helping a classmate or being volunteers brings joy.

Remember: Happiness doesn't just happen. It's something we create through our actions. Just like my father, we can choose to make each day brighter!

All in all, Nezha 2 has  (已经) become a huge success and won the(心) of many people all over the world.

During a science class, the teacher asked, "Why do we have brakes (刹车) in our cars?"

One student stood up and said, "sir, to stop the car." 1 student said, "To control (控制) the car's speed (速度)." The students kept giving same answers, so the teacher 2     to share his own thoughts.

How to Start Your Day Right

Success comes from good habits! Here are simple ways to start your day like successful people do.

Getting up an hour early is a good way to start the day. Mornings are the best time to focus (专注). Benjamin Franklin said, "Early to bed, early to rise makes you healthy, wealthy, and wise!" Use this quiet time to read, plan, or think.

◇ Drink Lemon Water

After brushing your teeth, have a glass of water with lemon juice. This helps your body wake up faster and gives you energy all day. Experts say it activate your metabolism.

When you wake up, don't look at your phone! It's a waste (浪费) of time. You see a Weibo post about some problems and the hot talk in it makes you want to read more. Soon, you'll spend too long in front of the screen. Sometimes you even feel upset with strangers!

Exercise early! Trainers say mornings are perfect because people get busy later. Even 10 minutes of jumping or stretching helps. You'll feel stronger and happier.

Start your day with good choices! Little choices become big changes! Feel stronger, happier, and brighter every day. You've got this!

One day, some children were playing in their playground when they heard a herald (使者) shouting, "The King is coming today. Get ready for it!" 

"Did you hear that?" the children said. "The King is coming. He may look over the wall and see our playground, we must put it in order." The playground was sadly dirty, so the children worked hard until it was clean and tidy. They were delighted and cheered excitedly as waiting for the King.

At sunset, a tired man in old clothes came along the road. 

"What a wonderful place! May I come in and rest here?" the man asked. 

The children brought him in happily and set him on an old chair. They had covered it with a piece of old red cloth to make it look like a throne (宝座).

"We made our playground pretty for the King, but he did not come," one of them told the man. "Now we plan to keep it for ourselves. Because we think having a clean and tidy place is important." 

"And tired people can rest in it!" added another one.

"That's the best of all!" said the man. He rested and looked at the children with kind eyes. They sit around him and shared their stories with him. When the man asked for water, they even brought out their best cup. Before leaving, he thanked the children and put his hand on their heads for a moment.

Watching him go, the children felt warm inside. 

"Look!" said the youngest one. "The sun is shining on his hair, it looks like a crown (王冠) of gold!"

If you dream about flying, you are probably quite happy. People might see you as a leader. Just enjoy this happy time!

Dream 3: Forgot to Study for a Test

This probably means you are worried about an important thing coming in your life, like a game or a test. If you're not ready for it, your dream may be telling you, "It's time to get to work!"

Dream 4: Someone's Running after You

If you dream someone is running after you, it may tell you should face the problem in your life instead of giving it up.
