Life is full of surprises, but some, like accidents and natural disasters, can be very dangerous. So, what should you do if you're suddenly in one? Don't worry — a few simple rules can help you stay safe!
Let's start with floods. The best thing you can do is to to higher ground, like the top of a hill or a strong building. Never try to swim in floodwater! Even if you're a great swimmer, the water moves too fast and can sweep you away.
Now, what earthquakes? If you're indoors, quickly turn off electricity and to prevent fires. And remember — never jump out of a window! News reports say it's often safer to stay inside and protect under a table.
Fire is another danger we might face. If your clothes catch fire, don't run — it can make the fire even! Instead, remember: "Stop, drop, and roll." If you're inside a building, avoid elevators and use stairs. Smoke can be very harmful, cover your nose with a wet cloth and stay where the air is cleaner.
Remember these. You'll know just what to do to stay safe in accidents and disasters!

9、Longjing tea, also known as West Lake Dragon Well tea, is one of China's 10 most famous teas. As is known to all, Longjing tea-picking depends largely on manual (手工的) work. But now Longjing tea can be picked by "metal workers"—tea-picking robots! In one tea garden of Hangzhou, three smart tea-picking robots invented by Zhejiang Sci-tech University appeared in public.
"Most of the tea pickers are in their 60s and hardly any young people would like to take up the work. If so, the Longjing tea industry may face problems when there is nobody left to help pick the leaves," Jia Jiangming, the developer of the robots, says when explaining why his team started to develop tea-picking robots.
The tea-picking robot learns through a specially designed model that offers it a large amount of information about tea leaves. With a pair of 3D eyes, this allows the robot to recognize tea leaves by itself. The robot uses its arms to move back and forth as it searches for tea buds (芽). When it locates them, it uses a pair of scissors and a suction device (吸力装置) to cut and collect the tea buds.
Yet, the robot's picking system needs improving before it can be more widely used. The robot can only take on the work of 1.5 workers at present. In addition, the robot can now only be used on flat ground, not on rough (高低不平的) ground.
根据语篇内容,按要求回答问题。
(1)、Which university invented the smart tea-picking robots?(2)、Why did Jia Jiangming's team begin developing tea-picking robots?(3)、What does Paragraph 3 mainly talk about?(4)、What are the main limitations (局限) of the tea-picking robot?(5)、Write an ending sentence for the passage. (不超过15个词) -
10、In 2026, a viral trend (网络热潮) called "Becoming Chinese" has taken social media by storm. Different from past trends focusing on foreign symbols, it is centered on trying everyday Chinese lifestyle habits. The trend was started by a Chinese-American creator Sherry, whose short videos have won millions of online views so far.
Netizens (网民) around the world like trying routines like wearing soft house slippers, drinking warm water and practicing Baduanjin. Based on traditional Chinese wisdom, especially "preventive treatment of disease" (治未病), these tips help people reduce stress in the modern "burnout society".
Foreign netizens choose to follow these practices for their own well-being. Ideas like "harmony between humans and nature" (天人合一) bring inner peace to those living in a fast-changing world. This shows a clear change from being a cultural watcher to an active participant (参与者).
Digital technology has become a powerful tool for cultural spread. Short-video platforms make Chinese daily habits seen by global viewers. Young people now realize that "Made in China" is not only about physical products, but also a special life aesthetic (美学) worth experiencing.
Visa-free policies (免签政策) have made it easier for foreigners to travel to China. Their shared travel stories online further boost the global attraction of Chinese culture. This trend marks a change of China's cultural influence—from "going global" to "taking root".
It proves that true cultural soft power does not come from planned spreading. Actually, it grows from the natural charm (魅力) of daily life wisdom. The next wave of "China fever" may lie in every shared small moment in our daily routines.

I grew up in the countryside. I didn't understand what it brought to me until I became an adult. It helped me learn more practical skills than my peers(同龄人) who grew up in cities. The first skill I learned was making dough(面团). In my hometown of Ningxia, people make noodles from the start of the evening. Since my parents often came home late, a prepared dough would help my family have dinner sooner. I thought it would be easy because I often saw my mum do it— just mix water and flour(面粉), right? Not quite! It was a mess for a while. First, I made the dough too soft. Then, I made it too hard. But as I kept trying, I learned the trick(窍门).
Later, I cooked fried dishes and things like dumplings. I fell in love with cooking. It's a good way to relax. Thanks to my cooking skills, I live a better life when I need to work at home. I cook every meal instead of ordering delivery(外卖). It saves money, and I don't have to wait for delivery drivers to bring me food. This may be why I'm so happy to know that students now have labor(劳动) education at school in China. These practical skills will help us students for the rest of our lives.
(1)、Where did the writer grow up?(2)、How could a prepared dough help the writer's family?(3)、Why did the writer fall in love with cooking?(4)、What does the writer think of cooking by herself?(5)、Do you want to have labor education at school? Why or why not? -

Mistakes: The Magical Stepping Stones to Success
Mistakes are not something to be feared or sad about. Instead, they are"playful magicians". Mistakes can turn"Oops" moments into"Wow" experiences! Why are mistakes so magical?
Sometimes, mistakes can make wonderful things. For example, if milk goes bad, it can turn into yogurt. If it changes even more, it becomes cheese. Cheese is even more delicious. Grapes can also surprise us. When they get sour for a long time, they become wine. And wine is much more expensive than the grapes.
Mistakes can also make people famous. Christopher Columbus made a mistake when he tried to find a new road to Asia. Instead, he found America. Alexander Fleming made a mistake in his lab, but it led him to make penicillin(青霉素). The medicine saved millions of lives.
So, instead of being sad about mistakes, we should hug them and keep trying, because mistakes show us new ways to grow smarter. They are like special gifts from life that lead us to wonderful things. The mistakes we make today can become the stepping stones for our success tomorrow.

Once a king got two nice falcons(猎鹰) from his son. He had never seen such beautiful falcons before. He loved them so much and he ordered the best falconer to train them to fly.
After several months, the king came to see how the training was going on.
