I live in a quiet residential community. My neighbour Mrs. Green is a warm-hearted old lady. She is medium height and always wears a soft smile on her face. She is the most caring person I have ever met.

Mrs. Green lives by herself but she never feels lonely. She is friendly and patient to all children living nearby. Every weekend, she prepares tasty snacks for us and listens carefully to our funny school stories. When I feel upset about my study grades, she talks to me and encourages me slowly.

She is also very honest. She never takes anything that does not belong to her. Once I lost my notebook on the road, she found it and gave it back to me right away.

I often help Mrs. Green carry heavy shopping bags and clean her small garden after school. We get on really well. She feels like my family member. I learn many great qualities from her: honesty, patience and kindness. I feel lucky to have such a nice neighbour beside my home.

Australia is a beautiful travelling country with special animals and natural sights.

First, Australia has world-famous special animals. Kangaroos and koalas only live here. Thousands of tourists come every year just to see these cute animals.

Second, Australia owns thousands of clean beaches. The seawater is clear and bright blue. 

Visitors can swim, surf or take slow walks along the coast.

Third, local Australian people are warm and easy-going. They are patient and ready to help visitors. They always smile and give a hand when people get lost or meet trouble.

Australia has amazing nature, lovely animals and friendly people. It is well worth visiting.

Last summer holiday, I travelled to a seaside city with my best friend Lucy. This was our first trip together and we enjoyed every minute.

The weather was sunny and cool each day. We walked along the beach in the early morning, watched the sea and took hundreds of photos. In the afternoon, we visited city parks and tried lots of local delicious food.

We helped and understood each other the whole trip. When I was tired, Lucy encouraged me to keep going. When Lucy lost her way, I checked the map and led her back. We shared our dreams, worries and school stories all night.

This trip made our friendship much stronger. We learned to care for and respect each other better. I will keep this wonderful memory forever. I hope we can travel together again next holiday.
