Sandy：No.Remember why we started this team.W.O.W.is the only place for kids here to read books.We have to save it.（Getting them together）I think we will find new ways as a team.

Mark，your mum works at the TV station，right？Can you call her and ask if she can report our plan on TV？That will bring more people here.

Mark：Sure!I will call her right now.

Sandy：Wonderful!Then more people in the city will know about our car wash.

Emma：I have another idea!My family has a bakery（面包店）near here.We can sell bread at a lower price.More people will come to buy food.Then they'll get their cars washed here.

What makes this wetland so alive and beautiful？The secret lies in its ancient wisdom.This wisdom guided the villagers' farming activities hundreds of years ago.They grew oranges，rice，and water chestnuts （菱角） together in the same place.They found these plants helped each other.Orange trees gave shade （树荫），and rice roots protected the soil （土壤） from washing away.Water chestnuts grew in the water and kept it clean.This smart way of farming saved land and produced more food.It allowed the villagers to live with nature.

Today，people still follow this wisdom with new ideas.To keep the water clean，scientists use modern tools to clear away bad plants and test water.Also，special "floating （漂浮） gardens" are put in the water.Their plants' roots take in dirty things and make the water cleaner.What's more，people build safe homes for animals.For example， "insect hotels" are made for insects to hide，and "ecobird islands" are built to keep people away so birds can live safely there.

Thanks to these new ideas，Sanyang Wetland is now home to 156 kinds of birds，794 kinds of plants and 303 kinds of insects.Every year，thousands of students come here to stay close to nature.They watch birds，study plants and pick oranges.There is also a museum for them to learn about wetland wisdom.

By mixing ancient wisdom with new ideas，people have made Sanyang Wetland a wonderful land for the city.This truly shows how people can live well with nature.

When you look at the picture on the left，you might think it was drawn by a little kid.In fact，this cute and funny picture was created by Dav Pilkey，a well-known American cartoonist（漫画家）.Why did he write and draw in such a special way？Actually，it was closely connected to his early experiences.

As a kid，Dav often got into trouble because of dyslexia（阅读障碍） and ADHD（多动症）.

Unlike other kids，he found it difficult to read and write.In class，he couldn't stay quiet or understand what teachers said.He always moved around and interrupted his classmates.As a result，his teacher had to make him sit outside the classroom alone.But he didn't let this bring him down.Instead，he spent the lonely time doing what he loved most-drawing and creating stories.

That was how he created his famous books like Captain Underpants and Dog Man.His dyslexia made him write accessible stories with fewer words and shorter sentences.For example，most pages in Dog Man have no more than 20 words.Also，his ADHD gave him a creative mind.He created many funny and special characters.He even added some spelling mistakes to make his books more interesting and real.Therefore，his books are popular among kids who don't like reading.

Dav's special experiences have finally led to his great success.Today，at 60，he still keeps writing and drawing.He hopes to encourage more kids to accept their own weaknesses.Just as his story shows：The things that make us different can be the things that make us wonderful.
