In the past，a diary was something you kept a secret. You wrote down your ideas and feelings. But you didn't want others to read it. Since then，the Internet has arrived. These days many young people write diaries just for other people to read. In the US，one in five students have their own web page. There are stories，pictures and，of course，diaries on it. 

Lots of children like writing online diaries because they can write anything they like. "In real life，you can't always say what you think，" says Mandy，a student from California. "But on the Internet，you are freer. " Mandy has over twenty thousand fans on the Internet. They know what she's busy with，what she's wearing and how she feels through her page. Mandy gets about two hundred emails every day from her fans. 

However，some people are not sure whether online diaries are safe. "The young need to be careful about what they write on a website，" says a mother of three. "You don't know who's visiting your website，and maybe they're trying to find you，" she says. "It's_playing_with_fire."

Different people have different ideas. We are sure that the Internet makes the world smaller. People get closer to each other. But it's also important to keep ourselves safe. 

Robots can help us in many ways. Topel Primary School is doing something new for autistic (患孤独症的) children with the help of robots. These robots can dance，play games and tell stories. They can do tai chi as well!

Dr Guldberg，a university teacher，said, "Autistic children are usually quiet，and it's hard for them to communicate with others. But they often feel good with robots. These robots can act as their friends and listen to them. "

Ian Lowe，a teacher from Topel Primary School，teaches about 30 autistic children. He said, "The robots are very smart at helping these children with learning. In the future，we hope they can help with learning at home. "

And the students love robots. Seven­year­old Joshua says he likes playing games with them and he likes to watch the robots dancing. And Stephen says he likes the robot Robert Max when it tells him stories. 

In a way，the robots are helpful for these autistic children to express their ideas. 

Sometimes friends have different opinions about something. However，good 1 can help things become better and also make friendship stronger.
