Last year, I went to Seoul with my classmates. It was our first school trip abroad. We were all very excited.

On the first day, we visited Gyeongbokgung Palace. We  (wear) traditional Korean hanbok for the visit. It was a little uncomfortable, but we looked great in the photos. The palace was big and beautiful, with colourful buildings and quiet gardens.

Then we went to Myeongdong. There were so many  (shop) and street food stalls. I tried some tteokbokki, which is spicy rice cakes. It was hot  delicious. My friend bought a K-pop album as a souvenir.

In the evening, we watched a traditional Korean dance show. The dancers  (move) gracefully, and the music was beautiful. We learned that Korean dance has a long history and is an important part of their culture.

The next day, we visited N Seoul Tower. We took the cable car up to the top. From there, we could see the whole city. It was  amazing view.

During the trip, we made many new friends  local students. They told us about their daily life and taught us some simple Korean words. We also learned that Seoul is not only a modern city  also a city with rich traditions.

This trip was a wonderful experience. I learned a lot  Korean culture and made great memories. I hope  (visit) Seoul again someday and explore more of  beautiful city.

My Trip to Bali

Last winter holiday, I went to Bali, Indonesia with my family. Bali is a beautiful island in Southeast Asia, famous for its beaches, temples and rice terraces.

Before the trip, I thought Bali was just a place for relaxing on the beach, but I was wrong. We did so many interesting things. First, we visited Tanah Lot, a temple built on a rock in the sea. It was amazing to see the temple standing in the waves. Then we went to Tegalalang Rice Terraces. The green terraces looked like giant steps going up the hill. We took lots of photos there.

We also tried local food, like nasi goreng (fried rice) and satay (grilled meat). They were very delicious. The local people were very friendly. They taught us how to make a traditional Balinese offering, which is a small basket of flowers and incense.

I learned a lot about Balinese culture during this trip. It was a wonderful experience, and I hope to visit Bali again someday.

The Taj Mahal: A Symbol of Love

The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in the world. It is located in Agra, India. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and took about 22 years to finish. Thousands of workers from all over Asia helped build it. The building is made of white marble, and it has beautiful carvings and inlaid stones. The Taj Mahal looks different at different times of the day—pink in the morning, white at noon, and golden in the evening.

Every year, millions of tourists visit the Taj Mahal. They come to admire its beauty and learn about the love story behind it. The Taj Mahal is not only a building but also a symbol of true love. It was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983.

Tips for Travelling in Asia

Travelling in Asia can be fun, but you need to know some tips to make your trip easier.

1. Learn a few basic words in the local language. For example, saying "hello" and "thank you" will make people more friendly to you.

2. Respect local customs. In many Asian countries, you need to take off your shoes before entering someone's home or a temple.

3. Try local food. Don't be afraid to try new dishes—you might find your favorite food! But remember to be careful with spicy food if you don't like it.

4. Carry cash. Many small shops and street stalls don't accept credit cards, so it's good to have some local money with you.

5. Dress appropriately. In some religious places, you need to cover your shoulders and knees. So pack some long clothes.

Last summer, I went to Bangkok with my parents. It was my first time to travel to Southeast Asia. Before the trip, I only knew Bangkok was the capital of Thailand from books. I1 it would be a hot and noisy place, but it turned out to be more wonderful than I imagined.

On the first day, we visited the Grand Palace. The golden buildings there were2 beautiful that I couldn't stop taking photos. I wanted to show every detail to my friends back home. Then we took a boat to a floating market. There were hundreds of small boats on the river, and each boat had sellers3 fresh fruit, spicy noodles and traditional Thai snacks. I tried some mango sticky rice—it was sweet and creamy, just like I had4 before!

In the afternoon, we went to a temple. We had to take off our shoes5 entering it, which was a local custom. The monks there were kind and told us some stories about the temple's history.

At night, we walked around the famous Patpong Night Market. The streets were6 with people from all over the world. My mom bought a silk scarf with beautiful patterns, and I picked a small wooden elephant as a souvenir.

I was worried about the language barrier at first,7 many shopkeepers could speak basic English. They even taught us some simple Thai words like "sawasdee" (hello) and "khop khun" (thank you).

During the trip, I learned that Thai people are very friendly and their culture is rich and interesting. I8 I can go back to Thailand someday to explore more places, like Chiang Mai or Phuket. This trip was definitely one of the most9 experiences in my life. I will never10 it.
