Chimelong Ocean Kingdom（长隆海洋王国）is a great place for sea animal lovers. Many people go to visit it every year. There are some Chinese white dolphins.

Qingming is a festival for Chinese people to remember their lost family members. It has a history of over 2,500 years. It 46 falls on April 4th or April 5th. At this time of the year, spring 47 and the weather becomes warm.

People eat cold food during this festival. The tradition comes  a story about Jie Zitui in the Spring and Autumn Period（春秋时期）。

Jie saved his hungry emperor's（君主）life by cutting meat from his own leg. The emperor, Jinwengong, was later able to take power（权力）and would like  Jie.  , Jie didn't care about power or money. He still lived in the mountain s with  mother.

The emperor tried to drive Jie out of the mountains by starting a fire. It was very  for Jie to stay. In the end, both Jie and Jie's mom died in the fire. The emperor was so sad that he ordered all his people must not  fire and could only eat cold food on this day to remember Jie.

Qingming is one of the Chinese 24 solar terms（节气）,too. It is the best time for spring outing and spring farming. People always go out for fresh air and all kinds of sports , like flying kites and taking a walk outdoors. Spring outing is good to keep us . Farmers are busy with their work. They hope to get a good harvest（收获）in autumn.

If you often have a cold, headache（头痛）or backache（背痛）, there is something wrong with your health. Eating health y food 1 good for your health. Tofu, milk and vegetables are healthy for you.

If you visit Singapore, be careful where you cross the road. Look for a pedestrian crossing（人行横道）—a safe place to cross. If there is one near, you must use it. You can't cross the road in any other place. You can get a $50 fine if you do.

In general, Singapore's rules make it a clean and safe place. When everyone follows the rules, it makes the country a better place for everyone.

In China, there are many different kinds of food. Some of them are popular. Among (在……之中) them, dumplings are the real Chinese food.

Everyone in China likes dumplings very much, and there are many different kinds of dumplings. Some have beef and beans in them, and some have eggs and carrots in them. But I love eating dumplings with cabbage and pork(猪肉).

Usually people make dumplings at home. When you have no time to make them, you can buy them in a supermarket. Then you take them home and eat them with vinegar(醋).

The Spring Festival is very important in China. When it comes, we make dumplings, and usually we put a coin(硬币) in a dumpling. Someone eats the dumpling with the coin in it, and he will be lucky in the new year.

Most people love animals because they are useful in many ways. They bring more fun to our life.

We find many different kinds of animals on the earth. Some animals, like leopards（豹子）, wolves, pandas and foxes live in big forests. We call them wild（野生的）animals. Most of them are dangerous. Some others like cows and dogs live with men. We call them domestic（驯养的）animals.

Animals are important to men. Men kill wild animals for fur and meat. Skins（皮肤）of foxes and crocodiles （鳄鱼）can be made into coats and shoes. People are now stopped from killing wild animals in order to protect（保 护） their lives. Domestic animals can not only give men food, but also help men with some farm work. There isn't so much fun in life, if there are no animals. People get meat from sheep and pigs. From cows, we get milk. Horses can take us to other places. Animals also help farmers a lot on farms.

It is important that men need to live with animals. Let's protect animals. They are our best friends.

The Yangtze River is one of China's most important rivers. It's the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world. It's around 6, 300 kilometers long and has an area of about 1.8 million square kilometers. 

●Where the Yangtze River Starts 

The Yangtze River begins in the Tanggula Mountains. Its main part goes from west to east through the middle of China. It passes through 11 provinces and cities. 

●The Yangtze River's Culture 

The Yangtze River has a rich and interesting history. We can not only enjoy its beautiful views, like the Three Gorges (三峡), but also learn a lot from its special cultures, like festival culture and cooking culture. 

●The Animals of the Yangtze River 

Many important wild animals live near the Yangtze River, such as Chinese sturgeon (鲟), paddlefish (匙吻鲟), and Chinese river dolphin. 

The Yangtze River is the mother river of the Chinese nation. We must protect it. Don't throw trash into it. We should also save water and plant more trees on both sides. For thousands of years, the Yangtze River has watched the Chinese people work hard. It brings out the hardworking, brave, and creative spirits of the Yangtze River. These spirits help us make our Chinese dream come true. 

Simon didn't get on well with his parents in the past. He hardly talked to them, because they always  him with his sister. Simon thought that wasn't very , and he often argued with his parents about this.

 Imagine you love playing the guitar. You can share your favorite songs with classmates. You can join a music club. Or you can even teach someone a simple chord (和音). During the processes, you can communicate with others well. By doing that, you turn a small interest into lively conversations successfully. 

Hobbies also keep you from being bored. When you're free, you can get into your hobby. Painting a picture, for example, lets you focus on mixing colors and creating shapes and makes time fly faster. Gardening teaches you patience as you watch seeds grow into flowers. It gives you a sense of achievement.  Trying a new recipe and sharing the dish with family bring happiness to both you and others. 

A hobby makes your life colorful in many ways.  Start small, and you'll soon see how much brighter life can be. 

Anger isn't a good feeling. Anger may make us feel uncomfortable, but it's seen everywhere. Unluckily, many of us have been used to keeping our feelings hidden（隐藏的）. Research suggests that this can have long-term bad influences（影响） on your health. 

Is it better to cry or break things whenever something makes us angry? The research points out that when we show our anger in this way, we probably can't get on well with our friends and our family. The longer we stay angry, the worse the result will be. So how can we deal with our angry feelings in a right way? 

First, know what makes us angry. Anger is often caused by feelings such as fear, disappointment and so on. 

Also, care more about those everyday things that will make us angry. For example, we may get angry in the long lines at the store. Take a step back and think that it isn't personal. Everyone in the line has dinner to make, just like us. One way to deal with anger is to talk about it. The study has shown that if we name our feelings, we can slowly calm ourselves down and feel better. 

Take some deep breaths or find some helpful exercise to do. Exercise helps with feelings of anger. 

If we learn to deal with anger, we will be happier and healthier.
