Recently, the news that paper train tickets will no longer be used has caught people's attention. According to the railway department, after September 30th, paper tickets for paying back will be completely stopped and replaced(代替) by electronic tickets. This change brings back memories for many people.

In the past, paper train tickets were not only a pass to get on the train but also kept the memories of many trips. They might help you remember the exciting family holidays, the feeling of worry on your first trip alone, or the happiness of returning home. However, as technology got better, the "paperless" time for train travel has come. Since November 1, 2024, China's railway system has started using only electronic tickets. From November 1, 2024 till September 30, 2025, people could choose to have either a paper ticket or an electronic one.

Some people worry that older adults may find it hard to use e-tickets. To solve this problem, stations have service desks. Workers there can help print travel information sheets. This change is also good for our environment because it uses less paper.

Even though paper train tickets are going away, the memories they held will always remain. And the new electronic system will certainly make our travel easier.

(1)、How is the passage mainly organized?
