MU US SANDY LAND-A woman from Innnc r Mongolia has done something amazing. Yin Yuzhen, a local farmer, has turned a large desert into a green forest. 

In 1985, Yin moved to the Mu Us Sandy Land after getting married. Life was very hard. There was nothing but sand and strong wind. Her home was just a small hole in the ground. She told herself, "I would rather die than let the sand bury(埋葬) us. "

Yin decided to fight the desert by planting trees. At first, she and her husband sold their only sheep to buy 600 baby trees. But most died. Only ten survived. However, she never gave up. 

After over 30 years of hard work, Yin has planted more than 8 million trees and turned 70, 000 mu of sand into green land. Now, birds and animals have returned.

As a kid, I was shy and lonely. I couldn't help feeling nervous in crowds（人群）because I always had a thought that they kept watching me. Most of the time, I would find a quiet corner, drawing all alone.
