The film Postmen in the Mountains tells a touching story about the love between father and son.

Yandang Mountain is known as the"No.1 Mountain in Southeast China." It stands about 1,057 meters above sea level. Its name comes from a dried-up lake at the top. The lake is called Yanhu Lake, or Goose Lake. 

The mountain was not widely known until the Song Dynasty because it was hard to hike across it. The famous Ming Dynasty explorer Xu Xiake once said, "Only the gods can see all the wonders of Yandang Mountain."

Over the past hundreds of years, many temples have been built on the mountain. These works include stone sculptures (雕塑), calligraphic tablets(书法碑刻) and paintings on the rocks.

 One of the most famous is Ling Feng, or Spiritual Peaks. This area has many strange peaks and cliffs(峭壁). They look different from different sides. Take Hezhang Peak for example. The 270-meter-high peak can look like a pair of hands, a young lady in a qipao or two people in each other's arms.

Another well-known sight is Sanzhepu, or Three-Terraced (阶梯型的) Falls.  They are some of the most special waterfalls on the mountain.

There is no doubt that the world will be a very different place in 2045. So what's going to happen then? It's pretty likely that robots and AI technology will change a lot of industries. Also,self-driving and flying cars will come into our daily life, bringing us much convenience.

However, scientists have even bigger ideas. In a video series called Forward to the Future.three researchers predicted what they imagined would be reality in 2045.

Dr. Justin Sanchez believes we' ll be at a point where we can control things simply by using our mind. "Imagine a world where you could just use your thoughts to control your environment,"Justin said. According to him, experts are working on certain technologies that can make this happen. They' ve made some progress already.

The future has more than just that. Many other exciting things could change the building and other objects around us, says Stefanie Tompkins. "We' ll be able to build things that are very strong but also lightweight(轻量型的). We don't even know the materials around us," she predicted.

Pam Melroy believes we' re going to find that we have a very different relationship with the machines around us. "I think we' ll begin to see a time when we' re able to control a machine just by pressing a button(按钮) or only saying some simple words," she said. For example, right now to land a plane safely, a pilot has to go through many steps in the right order. But in 2045, inPam's words, a pilot may just need to say the words"prepare for landing". Then the computer knows the steps it needs to take. Or perhaps, with AI, a pilot won't even be necessary.

Have you seen circles, squares and triangles(三角形) everywhere in your daily life? Have you thought about their meanings in films? Much like colors, different shapes can show different features(特征) of characters in the scenes.

Circles represent(象征) things that are soft and natural. The round shape reminds us of things that appear in nature, like the sun, flowers, raindrops and so on. We can also connect circles with beautiful eyes, babies' round faces... All these things make us feel happy and warm. This is why so many cartoon characters' bodies— heroes, kids, good people— are round in shape, because circles represent goodness,happiness and friendliness.

Squares show things that are unnatural or man-made, or things that are boring or old-fashioned. InUp, Carl, an elderly man, has a square face and wears square glasses, while Russell, an 8-year-old boy with a round face, always wears round medals. These shapes show the characters' personalities. Carl is stubborn(执拗的) and lonely, while Russell is lovely and full of energy.

The angriest shape is the triangle. Kids who draw a monster with sharp teeth draw a row of triangles, don't they? That's because the shape represents fear, distrust and doubt in some way. If you look at the bad guys in cartoons, you' ll find they' re all drawn with plenty of points and triangles. And triangles are stable and don't easily fall down. In films, this feature makes bad people difficult to deal with.

Not only in cartoons, but also in other kinds of films, different shapes are used for the same purpose. So, next time you see a film, try to find the hidden shapes and you will know what the characters are like.

This morning, Wang Ping was in a hurry to the railway station because his friend was waiting for him there. Unluckily, he got stuck in a traffic jam (交通阻塞). All the cars were lined up, and drivers were honking(按喇叭) at each other in anger. Wang Ping got out of his car and moved forward to see what was causing the traffic jam.

In life, we all make mistakes. These mistakes are usually not on purpose but happen because of unexpected situations at times. When others make mistakes, we often blame them, but when we make mistakes, we want others to understand and help us. However, during difficult times, we should focus on solving the problem instead of blaming others. Also, forgiving(原谅) others is a smart choice because it can stop fights and spread kindness.
