Mount Kilimanjaro (乞力马扎罗山) is the highest mountain in Africa. It is one of the most beautiful places on the Earth. It is 5,895 meters above sea level, and it is often called"the Roof of Africa".

Climb lovers' dream place—— Mount Kilimanjaro

It is one of the world's highest"walkable" mountains. People can climb the mountain all year round, but most people will choose to climb during the mountain's two"dry" seasons—— January to March and June to October. If they want to reach the top of it, they can climb in the rainy season too, but the weather condition may not be good and it may be       ◆       to reach the top of the mountain.

It's believed that the first people who reached the top of the mountain were Hans Meyer and LudwigPurtscheller. Through hard work, they successfully reached the top of the mountain on October 6th, 1889.

The Dead Sea of China is in Daying, Sichuan Province. It was from the 150-million-year ancient underground lake, where useful minerals(矿物质) are very rich. It has much salt:22%. It is similar to"the Dead Sea" in the Middle East.When people are lying in the water, they can float and will not sink (下沉). So it is known as"the Dead Sea of China".

The Dead Sea of China Resort(度假景区) was built in 2003. It cost more than 10 million yuan and it covers an area of 2,000 acres. In the park you can enjoy many kinds of interesting sports. When you feel tired , you can come here for surfing. When you feel too much pressure, swimming and floating are good choices. All the activities are helpful to your health. Every year, a lot of tourists travel here from all over the country.

Most of Greenland is white because it's covered with snow and ice.And people found a special canyon (峡谷) there.

In 2013, scientists studied the environment in Greenland. They used special tools to look for the rocks deep below the ice.The canyon starts in the central part of the island and runs north to the Arctic Ocean(北冰洋).

The canyon runs for at least 750 kilometers and is 800 meters deep.It is nearly as deep as the GrandCanyon in the US. Because of its size, it was named,"Grand Canyon of Greenland".

 .There are two possible ways. The first is that the huge ice made the canyon. When ice slowly moved across the land, it cut its surface and created deep holes. The other is that the huge rivers made it. For the last two million years, the Earth's temperatures have gone up and down many times. When they go up, a lot of water melt (融化) from Greenland's ice and flows into the ocean. The plenty of water made the long deep canyon.
