Chinese people don't just love cooking delicious vegetable dishes.They also love planting vegetables.Chinese people grew vegetables in their gardens centuries ago.Now，they also grow vegetables in the Antarctic，and even in space （太空）!Here is why.

With so much land，China is good for growing vegetables.Many places have the light，soil （土壤） and water that vegetables need.

There are many different pets，so choosing the best one can be hard.Here are some things to think about.

First，think about your home.Is your house small？A goldfish is a great pet.They don't take up much space.But dogs and cats can be noisy，so your neighbors may not be happy.

Next，think about the weather.In your area，is it often rainy，hot，or cold？Cats and fish are okay with any weather.But dogs need to go outside for walks every morning and evening，no matter what the weather is like.This can help you exercise，but some people don't like going out in bad weather.

Then，think about time.Taking care of a pet takes time.You need to clean a goldfish's bowl and change 50% of the water at least every three days.Dogs also need a lot of care：daily walks，meals，and a bath every few months.

Finally，do you need a tidy house？Dog and cat hair can go everywhere!Some pets，like the Sphynx cat，don't shed much.But other pets，like Golden Retrievers，shed a lot. This can make it hard to keep your house clean.

Jack：Riding a bike is my favourite.I think it's very interesting.I often ride a bike to the countryside at weekends.Along the way，I see trees，flowers，rivers and mountains.Sometimes the ride makes me tired，but I feel comfortable when I am back home.

Sara：I learn Tai Chi from my grandpa these days.It is slow but great，and it's good for keeping healthy.Also，playing Tai Chi helps me become more careful and more patient.When I feel bored or angry，I will play it and then I'll become quiet.

I still remember the morning of May 23,2019. After two months of climbing,I finally stood on the top of Qomolangma ——(high) point in the world.

The climb was quite difficult. The air was so thin  I had to stop every few steps to rest.the temperature was-40℃, and the wind was like  knife on my face. At one point, I wanted to give up. My legs were shaking, and  could not feel my fingers.

But then I thought about why I came here. I had trained  three years. I had said goodbye to my family. I had spent all my savings. So I kept climbing (proud)—— one step,then another.

When I finally reached the top,I (cry). I looked down at the clouds and those faraway (mountain). Few minutes later, nothing else mattered. I stayed there for only fifteen minutes  the weather was getting worse. But those fifteen minutes will with me forever.

Now,(climb) is not about being famous. It is about finding out what you are really made of.

Jake's uncle had always told him his journeys through forests and sea. Jake, just a little boy, also dreamed of being one of the greatest (探险者),  like his uncle.

In the old forest, Jake hoped to find a hidden lake and see rare birds.(尽管) he felt excited, he was a little scared of the unknown. Soon he began to (遭受) from a heavy rain and it stopped his journey. He felt he could not stay (活着).

However, Jake tried to stay calm. He knew it was (正常) to face difficulties. He did not give up. Instead, he tried to control his (害怕).

When the dark fell, he built a small fire with dry wood and (平躺) beside it, wishing for the best. Luckily, the next morning, the rain stopped. Following the sun, he was about to lose hope when he heard running water (在……下面). He followed it and found the hidden lake! He could (清楚) see the fish swimming in it. The beautiful view made all the hard work worth it!

Jake learned an important lesson: We may face failure, but we should always look on the bright side. It is not the end, but a chance to grow (我们自己). This journey taught him to be brave and confident.

As we know, bad habits can slow you down. If you don't stop to think about how you study, you might miss out a/ an  and smarter way to study, this is called reflective(反思性) learning.

Reflection is about thinking carefully about something to deal with it better. It  asking questions, making good choices and learning from what you do  being negative.

Reflective learning can help you in many ways. It helps you decide what to do , manage your time well and choose what's the most important. It can also help you stop putting things off and make you have less .

So try to ask yourself questions and be honest in your reflection.
