Li Weiyi is a painter from Chengdu. In 2010, she traveled to the Ruoergai Grassland (草原). There, she found a weak baby wolf. She felt sorry for him, so she took the little wolf back to her city home. She named him Green and took good care of him.
However, as Green grew up, things changed. His wild nature began to show. He cried loudly at night and needed a large space to run. Li knew clearly that the city was not a good home for a wolf. To help him return to the wild, Li made a hard choice. She left her comfortable city life and moved to the grassland with Green.

Green's story has touched many people's hearts. "I love him," Li said, "so I must let him go. For a wolf, freedom is more important than a safe life in a small room." From this experience, Li learned a great lesson: true love is not about keeping one under control, but giving freedom.

Sharks live in oceans. They have been here for a very long time, even before dinosaurs. A shark is a fish, but it is not like other fish. Sharks do not have bones. They have many rows of teeth, and they are always losing teeth and growing new ones. If a shark loses a tooth, a new one moves forward to take its place.
Some baby sharks grow inside their mothers, while others hatch (孵化) from eggs. When sharks grow up, they become strong predators (捕食者). They have many ways to find food. A shark can smell one drop of blood in 25 million drops of ocean, and it can see well even in deep, dark water.
Because sharks are powerful animals, many people think shark attacks are scary. But their attacks are rare. Sharks can be a danger to people. However, people are a bigger danger to them. Millions of sharks die in nets set to catch other fish, and others are killed on purpose. As a result, many kinds of them may die out.
Sharks are an important part of ocean life. People should know more about sharks instead of only fearing them. If we want these creatures to survive, people must learn to share the sea with sharks.

Body language is an important way of communication. It is how our bodies send messages without words. People always use body language when talking to others. From the way someone stands, looks, or moves, we often form quick ideas about that person. Social scientists have put a lot of time into studying the effects of our body language.
Body language often tells what is happening inside us. When people feel proud and strong, they usually stand or sit up straight. However, when they feel weak or unsure, they often make themselves look smaller.
But the relationship also works the other way. For example, if people use strong and confident body language for a while, they may begin to feel more confident inside. Therefore, some scientists suggest that we use positive body language to help us feel less shy and unsure.
Understanding it well can help us communicate better with others.

Put on silk robes (长袍) and prepare to watch history come alive. Young people in China are catching a new cultural fever. They are giving up boring tours and choose to live in the past. Ancient-style theme parks are no longer just for photos. They have become giant stages where visitors can star in their own historical dramas.
In the busy streets of Millennium City Park (清明上河园), which is located in Kaifeng, Henan province, 32-year-old Tao Jiji recently dived into the Northern Song Dynasty and said it was a wonderful visit. This park is a living version (版本) of the painting Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival(《清明上河图》). Last year, the park drew 11 million visitors. Many fans now call it the "Chinese Disneyland".
To build this lively world, the park puts on 200 daily shows. During holidays, this number can reach 1,000 shows per day. These activities allow visitors to walk inside the ancient painting. As one excited visitor put it, "People come here to find a kind of beauty that began 1,000 years ago but can still be felt and touched today."

Your face might appear in the next movie without your permission. This is a growing problem for many public figures (公众人物) in China. Some companies are using AI to copy the faces and voices of real people. With just a few photos and very little money, these companies can create a digital twin in less than five days.
Real-life examples show how fast this problem is growing. A popular online influencer named "Baicai" recently found that his photos were used in a short drama. The show had 41 million views before it was taken down. Even famous stars like Deng Wei are now fighting against these AI videos. At the same time, well-known voice companies are speaking out. They complain that AI is copying voice actors to save money and time.
To stop this, China has made new laws to protect everyone's digital rights. According to these rules, companies must get permission before they use anyone's image or voice. If a person changes their mind later, the company must remove (移除) all of their personal data. These rules also stop the use of AI to make fun of people or damage their reputation (名誉).
As AI keeps bringing new challenges, these laws are an important step in the digital age. They remind us that our faces and voices belong to us, not to computer programs. While technology continues to grow, these laws will help make sure that every person keeps control of their own image.

There are only about 6,000 to 6,500 Siberian cranes (西伯利亚白鹤) left in the world. Poyang Lake in Jiangxi province is very important for them. As China's largest freshwater lake, its wetlands are home to 98percent of the world's Siberian cranes every winter.
To better protect the birds, researchers at the Poyang Lake reserve built a smart system in 2023. It uses satellites and drones to check water quality, weather and other things. The system can even help deal with emergencies. On a rainy day in May 2024, workers at Poyang Lake got a red warning from it. A baby Siberian crane was stuck in the bushes. The system quickly planned the best way to reach the bird. With its help, workers found the bird in just 28 minutes.
Technology is also helping make sure migratory birds (候鸟) have enough food. People at the reserve use computer programs to control water gates and change water levels. This helps plants that birds like to eat grow faster.
Years of hard work are paying off. For example, in the winter of 2025, rare birds like great white pelicans (白鹈鹕) were seen spending the winter in Poyang Lake for the first time. "The environment has really improved," Lei Xiaoyong from Yugan county's forestry department told Dajiang News. "These rare birds are trusting us by coming here."

During school days, my schedule feels like a train that never stops. I 1 to class, race through homework, and hurry off to bed—only to repeat it all the next day. It seems like everything is "stealing" my time.
So, on the first day of the May Day holiday, I made a 2 to myself: I would take my time back. I 3 late every night to make up for all the free time I'd missed during school days.
At first, it felt 4 . I played games, watched TV shows, and went through social media. Nothing was there to stop me. This is 5 ! I thought.
But soon, I realized I wasn't beating a "time thief"—I was feeding one. Even though I slept until noon, I woke up feeling 6 . I couldn't focus on my favourite comic books, and even the funniest videos 7 to make me laugh. I had "free time", but I didn't have the energy to enjoy it. This thief didn't just take away my sleep—it stole my mornings, my good mood, and my 8 to stay focused.
So in the coming summer vacation, I'm 9 a change. I will use my time 10 and try to keep a balance (平衡) between learning and life. After all, when I take care of my time, my time takes care of me—and that's how I truly win my life back.
