Technology is changing fast. Old ways of keeping information are gone now, or they are no longer supported by new technology. For example, many people used floppy discs (软盘) to save files years ago, but today few machines can open them. Also, millions of songs and music pieces were saved on tapes or CDs, but now most old music players no longer work. Another problem is that websites often change or close down, and all the information on them can fall into the digital black hole.

Books, however, are quite easy to keep. We don't need special tools or technology to read them. If you keep them in a dry and safe place, they will stay safe for a long time. Li Shizhen's great medical book Ben Cao Gang Mu came out in 1593. Amazingly, three copies from the first printing still survive today. That's not bad for a book more than 400 years old.

Today, to some researchers, printed books remain a safe way to keep information. In 2014, a professional group began to raise money to print a famous online encyclopedia into 1,000 books. This would make sure that even if digital technology fails, the knowledge can still be kept.

The boss of EHang Holdings, Wang Zhao, said they hoped to get permission (准许) to start using these flying taxis this year. They are now testing a special app and it will help people book a ride in the sky. When the flying taxis start, they might cost a little more than usual taxis, but not too much more.

Mr. Wang once attended a meeting about new machines in Guangzhou. He talked about using cool new machines to make the city better. These machines can fly, drive, or float by themselves, without people controlling (控制) them.

The Guangzhou government wants to help make these cool things happen. They're giving money and help to companies that are working on them. And, by 2027, they plan to build 100 special places where the flying taxis can take off and land safely.

If EHang Holdings gets permission to use their flying taxis, Guangzhou will be the first city in China where people can fly in the sky in a taxi without a driver. In fact, EHang Holdings has already shown that their flying machines can carry people safely in different ways, like for fun rides or moving things from one place to another.

You may know Facebook. However, you may not know that Facebook was not Mark Elliott Zuckerberg's first1. Zuckerberg began to use his father's computer at around 10 years old. Both Kovesi and Hughes agree that the best thing for kids to do is to stay inside when wildfire smoke is in the air.

"It's especially important for kids who are super active to stop those activities.This is not the time to go jogging,play football and other sports,"Hughes said." which gives you a greater exposure (暴露)to the smoke and the particles( 微 粒 )the smoke carries."

It's best to close your windows and doors when you're inside.You can also use an air conditioner,if you have one,to filter(过滤)the air more.Kovesi said that masks can also help lower the risk a little, particularly N95 masks.But they need to be worn correctly.
