Do you know about World Letter Writing Day (世界写信日)? My grandpa tells me a lot about the special day.  A man called Richard Simpkin—an Australian writer, set up (设立) the day in 2014. He hopes people can take a break (休息) from social media (社交媒体) and write a letter to their family or friends. 

When Grandpa was young, there were no phones or computers.  At that time, Grandpa wrote lots of letters to Grandma to show his love. Now they are both over 70 years old. Every year, Grandpa writes a letter to Grandma as her birthday present.

In my grandparents'room, we can find a beautiful box.  Grandma often says to me, "These letters bring back lots of good old memories (回忆). "

Thirty years ago, my grandparents were young. They didn't wear glasses. Grandma was beautiful. She was a nurse. Grandpa was thin and tall. He was a teacher. He went to work by bike. He liked playing badminton. 

Now they are old. They wear glasses. Grandpa can't ride now. He often goes for a walk with grandma after dinner.

Anna was always very picky (挑剔的) about food. Her parents liked pizzas, tarts and ice creams. But Anna 1 ate them.
