Life in the Future

I want to share something about life in the future.

How will China change over the next five to ten years? Here comes the 14th Five-Year Plan. The Plan is very important for us because we see it as the start to build a better country. Here are some of the changes from 2021 to 2025.

★Science

Robots will be more popular in the future. Our country will spend more money on science. The spending will go up by more than 7 percent each year.

★Environment

Our environment will be better because people will plant more trees in our country. The forest coverage (森林覆盖率) will reach 24.1% by 2025.China will also use more clean energy (能源) from the sun and the wind，etc.

★Life

Chinese people will live longer. To help Chinese people live better and longer，fitness programs are necessary. More and more sports centers will appear in the neighborhood.

★Education

Workers need to get more education. If they get more education，they can make better things. By 2025，most people will at least finish high school before getting a job. To make it come true，our country will give people better schooling.

It's easy to plan your vacation in Beijing. There are many places of to visit and you can find them amazing. If you want to go shopping, you can go to Wangfujing Street. You can buy anything you like. If you want to visit a beautiful lake, you can go to Kunming Lake in the Summer Palace. The water in the lake clean. You will be relaxed and  like you are a bird. When you are , you can taste tanghulu and Beijing Roast Duck. You can also drink Beijing tea. When I was a little kid, I  it very much. You can visit the largest square (广场)  the world—Tian'anmen Square.

Many years , it was not easy for people to travel around Beijing. But now things become different. You can take the subway. It's fast,  it takes you a short time to get to the city center. There are many  in the city. If you can't find one, you can take a taxi. You can also ride a bike by . It's fun for you.

Parents usually don't let their children cook. They think it's dangerous for children to do it. However, scientists say that it's good for children to do some easy work about cooking, such as doing the dishes and washing vegetables.

Cooking makes children smart.

In some cooking activities, children can choose and decide what things to put in a dish or how much salt to put in a dish. That's a great way to make them think actively. At the same time, they can learn how to serve their friends by cooking themselves. They can also learn to eat healthily.

Cooking teaches children to feel how things change.

When helping cook in the kitchen, children can touch some different ingredients (食材) and they can also see how food changes by temperature. So it's good for them to get life experience.

Cooking makes children confident (自信的).

When children learn to cook, they usually feel that they have grown up, and they can do something for their family members. Children can cook a great dinner to show their love. So, cooking is well worth (值得) learning.

Cooking teaches children cultures.

Cooking in one culture is quite different from that in another. When cooking different kinds of food, children can also learn about different cultures. Also, children can learn some traditional eating cultures by cooking.
