Do you know digital technology? If you want to keep traditional Chinese music forever, you must depend on it. 

Recently, a digital protection project for traditional Chinese instrumental  music was produced.  The project was planned to revive traditional music by using digital technology to restore and save the original audio sources. Based on these sources, people can create digital albums, social media mini-programs and game background music. These are ways of spreading and passing down music. 

The first traditional instrument to get this kind of rebirth was an ancient set of bian zhong of Zenghouyi. As the largest set of bian zhong discovered in China, it needs many people to complete together during the play. This made it unique and difficult for the team members to start their work. To perfectly restore the sounds of it, the team members thought for a long time. And they tried many times, too. Mr. Yang, a designer from the team, said, "At first, we tried to find the right place to put the recording microphone after reading a lot of papers and historical information. We didn't realize how hard this job was until we were on the scene. "

To find out how and where to place the recording microphone, the team got help from live recording technology with different formats from different locations. In this way, they were finally able to collect 613 sounds in total. 

So far, they' ve used the bian zhong sounds in a new album. It includes 9 songs which can make your heart warm with traditional Chinese music.

Confucius(551 BC—479 BC) was the philosopher whose influence has been the greatest. He stressed the importance of kindness, duty and order in society. Chinese society was influenced by these ideas for more than 2, 000 years. 

Mencius was a thinker whose teachings were very similar to those of Confucius. Mencius was born in 372 BC. He became a student of Confucius' ideas. He traveled from state to state, teaching the principles of Confucius. He spent his last years preparing a book of his teachings called The Book of Mencius. Mencius believed that the reason why man is different from animals is that man is good. He taught that if the ruler was kind, then people would be good. He believed that people were more important than rulers, and hated the state when it treated people badly. 

Mozi was another teacher who also influenced China a lot. Born in 476 BC, he came from a family which was very poor. He became famous for his unusual clothes and behavior. Mozi founded the philosophy called Mohism. In some ways, his beliefs were similar to those ofConfucius. For example, he considered that the government was the most important. As a result, he spent many years trying to find a state where people would follow his teachings. Mozi believed that all men were equal. His idea of love was different from the Confucian idea of kindness. Mozi taught that we should love all human beings and look after those who are weaker than ourselves. He hated the idea of war. Mozi died in 390 BC.

A new exhibition at the Louvre Museum in Paris shows treasures from the Silk Road, a network of routes linking Europe to China. From about 130 BC until 1453 AD, the Silk Road was used by traders to transport goods. The show displays pages from one of the oldest copies of books, dating from the 8th cntury.

The amazing mountaintop village of Siurana, which has a population of 27 people, was selected to be on Spain's" most beautiful" list— but the town has refused the honor. MayorSalvador Salvao worried that being on the list would encourage too much tourism in the tiny village. He told The Times of London, "I don't see what good it can bring us." The list makers said that they had never received such a firm rejection before.
