Guyuan No.2 Middle School is a school in Ningxia, China. Since（自从）1995, every year before Qingming Festival, students and teachers of this school walk 54 kilometers to Renshanhe Martyrs Monument（任山河烈士陵园）. Some people ask a question: Is it still necessary to do this now?

Zhang Hua, a student from the school answers this question. She says, this long walk is a good way to exercise, it's good for our bodies. It also shows our respect to the mlars. These mlars fought for（为······奋斗）our happy life many years ago. We learn from them: when we meet difficulties, we should never give up.

On the way, students help each other. When they get to the monument, they clean the tombstones（墓碑）carefully. They also place flowers and light candles. They stand in silence to show their respect and listen to the heroes' stories.

This activity is very meaningful. It teaches students to love our country and always remember the heroes.

There are many kinds of junk food. They look nice  taste good. Many children love junk food. Although（尽管）they know it's not a good  to eat junk food, they still love it. Their  don't want them to eat too much junk food, because it's bad for their health. Some of them eat junk food every day. Some eat more than three  a week. As a result, they don't have a healthy body.

Bill eats lots of hamburgers  he loves them. He hardly exercises. He doesn't eat fruit or vegetables and he never  milk. When he has money, he' ll buy junk food to eat. One day, Bill feels very bad. His parents  him to the hospital . The doctor says he is ill because he eats too much junk food and never exercises. Bill feels  sorry. He starts to eat fruit, vegetables and drink milk every day. He also does exercise every morning. Soon, he becomes  again.

This story tells us: Junk food is bad for our bodies.  should eat healthy food and do more exercise to keep strong and fit.

Every March, China holds two important meetings in Beijing. We call them the Two Sessions（两会）. In 2026, they were held from March 4 to March 12.

We can think of China as a big family. The Two Sessions are like our family meeting. About 5,000 deputies and advisors（代表和委员）come to Beijing from all over the country. They are teachers, doctors, farmers, workers. .. They talk about our country's development （发展）and make plans for the future.

The year 2026 is special. It is the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. People talk about many things around our daily life, such as nice schools, clean air, beautiful parks and amazing cities. They also care about students' studies and after-school activities.

You might think, "I only care about my toys and snacks!" But the Two Sessions are not only for grown-ups（成年人）. They influence our lives a lot. It can bring us nicer schools, cleaner air and happier lives. Learning about the Two Sessions helps us know our country better.

Here are three famous museums in different places. When you go there, you should follow the rules.

A little bird lives in a big forest. He likes singing very much. He wants to sing well and make other animals like him. But he is very lazy. He never1 every day.

In the forest, the other birds are very hard-working. They get up 2 and practice singing. The lazy bird just plays with his friends and sleeps in the tree. He always says, "I can do it tomorrow."

In September 2024, Benjamin Rene and Loic Michel started their amazing journey. They crossed 16 countries on foot and finally arrived in Xinjiang in September 2025. 

"We hoped to change (ourselves). We wanted a big adventure and a chance to feel closer to nature, " Rene said. "That's why we (explore China now). "

Before setting off, the two men (careful) planned their journey. Once they arrived in China, they were amazed by the country's beautiful landscapes and its modern city life. 

One of the most unforgettable (part) of their trip was the kindness of the Chinese people. One day, they talked with a woman at a restaurant. After they explained that they were travelling along Silk Road, the woman showed great admiration（佩服）and praised their courage. Her words encouraged the young men (continue) their journey. 

Before the Mid-Autumn Festival, Rene and Michel checked into a hotel. The workers there welcomed them warmly and even prepared moon-cakes them, making them feel at home. 

Moved by Chinese hospitality（热情好客）, the two men began to learn Chinese. "It was difficult to learn the language at first it is very different from ours. But we felt very (cheer) when we could communicate with local people, " Michel said. 

As Rene and Michel continued the journey in China, the two shared their experiences online. Through their videos, many people could feel the joy of (visit) in China. "It's an amazing country. We' re having a really great time here!" they said.

D. El Rastro de Madrid in Spain

It is a popular open air flea（跳蚤）market in Madrid. It is held every Sunday and public holiday during the year. Many products (new and used) can be found here. 

E. Chelsea Market in America

The market is in New York City. It is a food hall and shopping mall. It has offices and TV studios too. It's a fun place to visit in the Chelsea area of Manhattan!

F. The flower markets in China

There are many flower markets in Guangzhou. There are many colorful flowers. The markets are very popular during the Chinese New Year when local people come to buy flowers for good luck.
