  • 2、 阅读下面短文,并从方框里的六个句子中选择五个还原到原文中,使原文的意思完整、连贯

    A. Take in less salt and drink more water.

    B. The water can fill part of your stomach(胃).

    C. However, it is not suitable for long-term use.

    E. It can help keep your skin and teeth healthy as well.

    F. But not many people know it can even help lose weight.

Everybody knows drinking water is good for health. In fact, water can control your appetite(胃口)and burn fat. Here are sone tips about using water to lose weight.

Do your best to avoid high-calorie(高卡路里的)drinks like milk and cola. Instead, you can choose a glass of water. Water is 0 calorie and is the healthiest drink for you. If you miss the taste of sweet drinks, put fruit in water to make it tasty.

Have a glass of water before each meal. . In this way, you won't eat too much and you will lose weight little by little.

Too much salt can stop your body from letting go water, and it will make your weight go up. You should avoid fast food whenever you can, because it is very high in salt.

To lose weight quickly in a few days, some people only drink water without eating anything.  If you do so, you may feel tired and sick. Remember, drinking water is just one part of losing weight. Eating healthy food and exercising are also very important.

  • 3、 阅读下列短文,从每小题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中,选出最佳选项。

The mangrove wetlands(红树林湿地)of Shenzhen's Futian and Hong Kong's Mai Po are very valuable. Every year, many waterbirds fly from East Asia to Australia. These wetlands are a key place for them to rest. These years, Shenzhen and Hong Kong have worked together to protect these important wetlands.

Why are these mangrove wetlands so important? Because they are like nature's protectors. They make a natural wall, protecting coasts from big storms(暴风雨). Besides, the thick forest of mangrove frees provides a perfect home for birds. They build nests there and look after their babies. "Even during storms, baby birds are safe in the mangroves, "said Simon Wong from Hong Kong's nature team. What's more, mangroves help take in CO2 and clean the water. As a result, they are helpful for both nature and humans.

To protect the wetlands together, Shenzhen and Hong Kong have used different ways since 2023. One of them is to protect birds' homes with the help of modern AI technology. Thanks to their efforts, the population of endangered birds in the wetlands has grown. For example, there were only about 300 black-faced spoonbills(黑脸琵鹭)around 30 years ago. Now there are nearly 7, 000.

In November 2024, the two cities started a new part of their teamwork. The International Mangrove Center(IMC)in Shenzhen opened. The IMC does research on mangrove protection, shares useful ideas and gives classes to the public. Its opening helps Shenzhen and Hong Kong work better to protect the wetlands. It also shows the world how cities can join hands to protect the environment.

(1)、What does the underlined word "them "in paragraph 1 mean?
    A、Cities. B、Wetlands. C、Waterbirds. D、Mangroves.
(2)、What can we lean from paragraph 2?
A、Mangroves are unsafe for baby birds. B、Mangroves can protect tall buildings from storms. C、Mangroves can produce a lot of CO2 and dirty water. D、Mangroves are good for not only nature but also people.
(3)、Why does the writer talk about black-faced spoonbills' population?
A、To introduce modem AI technology. B、To tell readers what the birds look like. C、To explain why endangered birds are important. D、To show the success of protecting birds' homes.
(4)、What can we infer(推断)from the last paragraph?
A、Students can do research on mangrove protection in the IMC. B、The IMC guides cities to work better together and protect nature. C、The IMC mainly helps the two cities to build more, mangrove forests. D、People don't need to worry about wetland problems because of the IMC.
(5)、What is the main idea of the passage?
A、Mangroves provide safe homes for waterbirds. B、The IMC in Shenzhen helps protect the wetlands, C、There are more black-faced spoonbills in Shenzhen. D、The two cities protect the mangrove wetlands together,

Can you imagine a sudden blackout(断电)? Few people have experienced anything like the pover blackout that happened in Madrid on April 28, 2025.

It started at around 12:30 in the afternoon, and people first knew it when all the traffic lights went out at the same time. All the stores vere without electricity, making it impossible for people to buy anything. To everyone's surprise, people acted calmly(冷静地). Although the traffic lights went out, the roads still worked well. That is because both drivers and walkers showed great politeness to each other and the police came quickly to help control the traffic.

People had different opinions about the blackout. Some hoped things would return to normal quickly, mainly because they didn't want to lose their food in the fridges. Others said there was something good about it. Because schools ivere closed and there was no TV or Intenet, children ran outside to play. Parks and gardens were full of families having fun together. The children enjoyed outdoor games again—something they didn't do for a long time.

Finally, the lights were back on at 21:45 and the streets rang with cheers. The blackout teaches us a valuable lesson:the brightest light is never from electricity, but from the warmth of human kindness and community spirit.

    A、Around 7 hours. B、Around 9 hours. C、Around 12 hours. D、Around 15 hours.

(3)、Why did some people hope things would return to normal quickly?
A、Because they didn't want the food in the fridges to go bad. B、Because the schools were closed and children couldn't go to school C、Because they couldn't watch TVor use the Internet during the blackout. D、Because they wanted their children to play outside and enjoy outdoor games.
(4)、What can we learn about the blackout?

  • 10、 阅读全文,并从下列方框里的六个句子中选择五个还原到原文中,使原文的意思完整 连贯。

A The reasons for the endangerment of animals are different.

    B. Moreover, they also have great scientific and medical values.

    C. By doing so, we can appreciate the beauty of endangered animals.

    D. Only in this way can we ensure the survival of endangered animals.

    E. As a result, thousands of species have become endangered or died out.

    F. They also try to call on the government to take action to protect animals.

Animals are an important part of nature, yet throughout history, humans have caused great harm to them. Many animals have been killed for their fur, feathers, or meat.

Firstly, the destruction of living space is a major reason. With the development of cities and industries, the living areas of wild animals are being destroyed. Secondly, illegal hunting also brings a serious problem. For example, many endangered animals are hunted for their valuable body parts.

Endangered animals play an important role in keeping ecological balance (生态平衡). Each species (物种)has its own place in nature, and the dying-out of any species can lead to a series of ecological problems.  They may provide important information for the development in science and medicine.

Fortunately, many people and organizations are working hard to protect endangered animals.

Some groups raise money to build homes for animals.  Many countries have already passed laws to stop the killing and trading of endangered species.

However, protecting endangered animals is still a long-term task. As students, we should raise our awareness of animal protection and join in voluntary activities. We should also avoid buying products made of endangered animals and support sustainable(可持续的)development

New artificial intelligence (AI) tool can be used to forecast our future health conditions. according to the scientists in London. Scientists from a number of different universities and hospitals have been trying out a tool called Foresight.

It has been trained on the healthcare data (数据)of real patients, and it uses deep learning to pick out patterns in the data and identify future diseases, medicine, and conditions. In other words, it's a simulation (模拟) of what someone's future health will look like.

The results of the tests on Foresight have come out in The Lancet Digital Health. Three different models of Foresight were trained on sets of health data from more than 800, 000 patients in the UK and the US.

In order to check how correct Foresight was, the scientists compared its forecasts with the medical records from a smaller number of patients they studied. It's said that its forecasting reports were 88% correct.

"But this isn't a tool for forecasting the future, " said Zeljko Kraljevic, the study's first writer, "and it isn't designed to help patients diagnose (诊断) themselves. " He said it could be used to help doctors to make decisions about a patient. "The more data it receives, the better it gets, " he added.

The scientists need more testing on the tool, and they' re looking for hospitals to help test a high-graded model called Foresight 2.

(1)、What can Foresight be used to do?
A、Offer all kinds of people's healthcare data. B、Help people learn about the medical knowledge. C、Provide doctors with treatment plans for patients. D、Forecast the patients' health conditions in the future.
(2)、What does the second paragraph mainly tell us?
A、How Foresight works. B、How great Foresight is. C、What the simulation is. D、How the simulation works.
(3)、What does the writer try to tell us by using "more than 800, 000 patients" in Paragraph 3?
A、Scientists were correct. B、Patients were unhealthy. C、Foresight was believable D、Health data were detailed.
(4)、What can we infer about Foresight?

①It can forecast a person's future life.

②Patients can diagnose themselves by it.

③It will play more and more important roles.

④It is a doctor's helper in diagnosing patients.

    A、①② B、②③ C、③④ D、①④
(5)、What is the purpose of this passage?
A、To show the difficulties of using AI in medical checks. B、To introduce a new AI tool that helps forecast health conditions. C、To encourage patients to use Foresight for more self health checks. D、To explain why scientists needed 800, 000 patient records for AI raining.

It was the last chance the aliens gave before killing the human beings. A team of grandfathers was chosen to compete against the aliens in an important football match!

Everyone hated these old guys and only their grandchildren were willing to train them. However, the only training was getting together to hear them tell their old stories and adventures over and over again.

When the aliens arrived to discuss when the game should be played, one of the grandchildren came up with a great idea.

"The game will take place in 1960. "

"In 1960? But that was more than 50 years ago!" replied the aliens.

"You' re going to fight a war against the Earth and you don't even have time machines?"

"Of course we do! Tomorrow we will travel back in time and the game will be played. It will be shown on television for all to see. "

The strong and powerful aliens entered the time machine, followed by a group of weak old men. But, as the years rolled back, the aliens became small and weak, turning into children once more. The grandparents, on the other hand, grew hair, lost their wrinkles(皱纹)and became young and strong again. They were now able to show off the heroic skills they had described to their grandchildren in their granddad stories.

The wise old grandfathers with their young and strong bodies easily beat the team of aliens. When they travelled back to the present day, they became old again but this time no one made fun of them or mocked(嘲笑)their age. Instead, they were treated as real heroes.

(1)、Why was the football match important??
A、Because it was a special match against the aliens. B、Because the game would take place more than 50 years ago. C、Because a team of grandfathers would take part in the game. . D、Because it would decide whether human beings would be killed.
(2)、What was the grandfathers' training like before the match?:
A、They practised football every day with skillful coaches. B、Their grandchildren listened to their old stories repeatedly. C、The government helped them improve their football skills. D、They learned football skills from the football games on TV.
(3)、Why did the grandchildren suggest playing the game in 1960?
A、Because the aliens didn't have time-travel technology. B、Because it was a year with perfect weather for football. C、Because the grandfathers were young and strong at that time. D、Because they wanted to trick the aliens into using time machines.
(4)、Which of the following can best replace the underlined word "heroic"?
    A、courageous B、basic C、important D、practical

  • 16、I am Jack. One place that is really important in my life is my grandmother's house. She lives in a small village in the south. I go to visit my grandmother every summer. I can get away from the city and relax. The village is just a group of white houses on a hillside (山坡) with some small shops. But it's really peaceful.

One reason why I like the village is that it's a beautiful place. My grandmother has a lovely garden and we can sit under the trees, drinking sweet tea and talking. It's so comfortable. But the main reason why this place is so important to me is my grandmother herself. She is so kind to me, and wonderful to talk to. Also, she's a great cook and the meals she prepares are simple, but so fresh and delicious. And she's always giving me snacks during the day, so I always return home feeling cool, refreshed (神清气爽的) and fat!

I really love visiting my grandmother for the holidays. I think that I probably couldn't live somewhere like that all the time. It would be hard to live in a small village where everybody knows each other. I'd like to live in a busy and exciting place. But I think this small village is the best place for me to take a break and stay with my grandmother.

(1)、When does Jack go to visit his grandmother?

(2)、What is on the hillside in the village?

(3)、Why is the village so important to Jack?

(4)、How does Jack feel when he returns home?

(5)、Where would Jack like to live?

for     proud     time     so     turn     speak     month     among     better     singing     my   worse

I used to be the shyest person in the world. I hid behind my elder sister when I had to speak to a stranger. When I was asked to in class, I could hardly breathe. Even the few friends, my low, timid (怯怯的) voice made me jokes—about being a girl.

Then in the seventh grade, my sister suggested I attend voice lessons and I followed her advice.

After a few  exercise, I finally got confidence and courage in my voice.

Then one day I was asked to sing some old people. Because of the voice lessons, I thought I would do better than before. I opened my mouth but I couldn't remember the words! My face red. The kind pianist gave me a prompt (提示), and I remembered just enough to keep. Then it made me realize: There's really nothing else to lose. in my second song, I just relaxed and felt the energy of the song lift me. And I did much.

After that, I started singing to as loudly as I could in my own room. That's something I would never have done before. One classmate even said I should be in the school's talent show.

Singing has made me more outgoing. Today, I can also stand in front of the whole class and give a big speech. I am of myself. I am no more a shy person.

  • 19、On Nov.18th, 1908, three men went up in a balloon. They started early in London. The headman was Augusta Gaudron, and the other two men were Tannar and Maitland. They had a big balloon and they were ready for a long way. Soon they heard the sea. They were carrying the usual rope, and it was hanging down from the basket of the balloon. At the end of the rope they had tied a metal box. This could hold water, or it could be empty. So they were able to change its weight. It was for use over the sea. They were also carrying some bags of sand. After the sun rose, the balloon went higher. It went up to 3,000 metres, and the air was very cold. The water in the balloon became ice. Snow fell past the men's basket, and they could see more snow on the ground. The men tried to throw out some more sand; but it was laborious. They tried to break the icy sand with their knives, but it was not easy. The work was slow and they were still falling, so they had to drop some whole bags of sand. One of them fell on an icy lake and made a black hole in the ice. At last they pulled the box into the basket. It was still snowing; so they climbed to get away from the snow. They rose to 5,100 metres! Everything became icy. They were so cold that they decided to land. They came down in Poland heavily but safely. They had travelled 1,797 kilometers from London!
