Many people use an skill-the memory palace (记忆宫殿) to help them remember things. You can build one too. First, choose a place, like your home or school, and picture it in mind. Next, take note of special things in this place, a sofa or a table.

But there was no way out, so she ended up on the trip. Shelley tried to carry her heavy bag. It felt like a mountain she didn't want but had to take. When they finally got to the campsite, she was happy to put it down.
