However，many coral reefs around the world are in danger.That's where a clever method called"coral gardening"comes in—giving reefs a second chance.Here's how it works in four steps：

First，scientists collect small pieces of coral from coral reefs.Then they break them into even smaller ones—tiny pieces grow faster.After that，they place the pieces in lab-controlled or underwater nurseries（苗圃），where tiny pieces are taken good care of.Finally，once strong enough，they are planted onto rock or man-made reefs so that they can grow on their own.

A typical example is the L-shaped Reef.Since 1982，scientists have placed old subway cars into the sea.These strange"homes"have created a huge man-made reef.Now，polyps and fish are moving in!

To know more about the ocean，a volunteer，Paul Green started the Big Bag Project in 2025.It calls on beach visitors to help collect information on plastics and water temperature through a bag which is connected with an app.Next time you go to the beach，take a bag，pick up some rubbish，and have a closer connection with the ocean.

Jenny first got into motorsport（赛车运动）by watching her younger brother，Bill，drive his kart（卡丁赛车）.Every time he took off his helmet（头盔）with a big smile，she became more fascinated.Soon after，she took the wheel herself.

The Eye of the Sahara is one of Earth's most amazing natural wonders. It's a special place in the desert of Mauritania(毛里塔尼亚), Africa. Looking from the sky, it looks like a huge, bright eye! It is as long as 500 football fields. The Eye looks like a big round pizza with different colourful parts.

How was it made? Millions of years ago, the ground under the sand started to rise up. Then, wind and rain slowly washed away the soft rocks, leaving the hard ones behind. Over time, these hard rocks formed the beautiful circles we see today. From above, you can count about 10 round circles, each one has a different colour. The biggest circle is on the outside, with smaller ones inside.

But the Eye of the Sahara is in trouble because sandstorms often blow over it. Now the sandstorms can make the rocks difficult to see. Also, not many people know about this amazing place because it's far from big cities.

What can we do to help? Scientists are studying the Eye to try to find ways to protect the rocks from sand. Some people also work hard to find some good ways like building a small road or a simple visitor centre nearby. This way, more kids and tourists can come and see the Eye of the Sahara.
