My hometown Nanning is a great city. 

Colourful vegetables are good for our health. In 1986, some studied the connection（联系） between colours and health. They something important in 1987. It showed different colours of vegetables helped our bodies many ways. 

White vegetables can keep cholesterol（胆固醇）at a low level. Green vegetables like cabbages help stay away from illnesses and make our strong. Yellow and vegetables like carrots are helpful for our eyes. 

Vegetables with dark colours don't look nice, but they are good for us.  our stomachs don't work well, we can eat some black fungus（木耳）. Blue and purple vegetables help learn things and easily. And red vegetables such as tomatoes give healthy hearts.

China's grasslands are becoming healthier and greener. A report says China does well in protecting natural grasslands after 2021. 

China uses two main ways to protect grasslands. First, people make rules to stop doing bad things to grasslands and keep them safe. Second, too many cows and sheep eat lots of grass in a short time, so the grass can't grow back. For this reason, people control the number of animals to let the grass grow strong again. 

In the past, we didn't have enough grass seeds. To solve this problem, people build special farms year by year to grow grass seeds. These farms produce 25, 000 tons of seeds every year. Now we have enough seeds to achieve our yearly goal. With all these useful ways, China's grasslands are turning greener and greener. 

Now most of China's grasslands are filled with healthy plants. More than half of them grow well. Every year, they produce over 600 million tons（吨）of fresh grass. It shows we make great progress in protecting nature.
