China covers a large area and there are 56 peoples in it. So China has a variety of Chinese foods with a different but mouth-watering flavor. Generally speaking, Chinese foods can be mainly divided into eight cuisines. Let's have a look at some of them.

Fujian cuisine often uses materials from the sea to cook. It tastes light and the color is beautiful. You can enjoy different kinds of soup in Fujian, because many dishes of Fujian cuisine are served in soup, like Eight Treasures Book Pack Fish. 

Shandong cuisine is very famous in northern China. It includes much seafood which tastes light and fresh. It is also the symbol of cooking culture along the Yellow River. Its most famous dish is Sweet and Sour Carp(糖醋鲤鱼).

China's second domestically-produced large cruise ship, which is currently under construction, was named as Adora Flora City and will be delivered by the end of 2026, its builder said. 

 The ship's construction schedule has been largely confirmed and the vessel is set to be floated in May 2025, which means its construction is at the halfway point and that it should be ready for undocking in March 2026, said Chen, assistant to the general manager of China State Shipbuilding Corporation's, or CSSC's, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. , Ltd. 

 The vessel's trial voyage should take place in June 2026 before it is delivered to its operator by the end of that year, added Chen, who is also the construction director of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding's large cruise ship project. 

 Chen said that compared with the first home-grown cruise ship, Adora Magic City, the second home-built one has been optimized and its construction efficiency will increase by 20percent. 

The 142, 000-gross-tonnage ship will be 341 meters long and 37. 2 meters wide, which means it will be 17. 4 meters longer than the first vessel. The second ship will have 19 more guest rooms than the first, taking its total to 2, 144.

The Spring Festival Yingge Dance ShowParade, held in Shantou, attracted a large crowd. More than 1, 000 dancers from 15Yingge Dance teams participated, making it a big cultural event for the city. 

Yingge Dance, or "Dance to the Hero' sSong", is a type of folk dance with a history of more than 300 years. It is popular in the Chaoshan region in the east of Guangdong Province and a few parts of Hong Kong, China. Combining dancing, Chinese martial arts, and Chinese opera, Yingge Dance has been listed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage in China. 

It's said that this traditional dance developed from the Nuo Opera(傩戏) performed to drive away evil spirits, welcome the spring, and pray for good luck. While the ancient NuoOpera tells stories from different folk tales, Yingge Dance is based on the adventures of the"108 Heroes" of Liangshan Mountain, best known from the classic novel The Water Margin. 

During festivals and celebrations, Yingge dancers, each holding short sticks, dressed in colorful costumes, jump up and down, and use props like masks, snakes, and drums to enhance their performances. 

In London's Burlington Arcade, during the Chinese New Year, a team from Puning, Jieyang, put on an impressive show. Anna, a Londoner who attended with her son, was thrilled and interested in joining in future Chinese New Year celebrations. Her son's growing interest in Chinese traditions has led him to study the Chinese language. 

Chen, the coach of the Yingge Dance team, wants to show Yingge Dance globally. After a month of busy training, the team, consisting of experienced members with over 15 years of performance, was well-prepared for their international performance.
