Alice doesn't tell her mother about the party because she wants to give her a(惊喜). But her mother forgets(忘记) her own birthday. She comes back with a(比萨饼). It's really fun. Everyone laughs. It doesn't matter. They eat it up happily!

"Can I have your cake?" Ms Hen asks. "Of course!" Baby Monkey says and takes five eggs. 

In the evening, the 12 "friends" come to Baby Monkey's home. Mr Gorilla asks, "13 is the cake?""We give Baby Monkey bananas and eggs, " Ms Hen says.

    ①In many countries, people love to eat sweet food on birthdays. But in Australia and New Zealand, kids have a special food called Fairy Bread(仙女面包)for their birthdays. 

②Fairy Bread is easy to make. It's white bread with butter on the top. Then, colourful tiny sugar bits called sprinkles(糖屑) are put all over it. People cut the bread into triangles(三角形). Kids really like it at birthday parties. 

③No one knows exactly where Fairy Bread came from. A long time ago, a newspaper in Tasmania talked about it. Some people think the name might come from a poem(诗) written by Robert Louis Stevenson in 1885. The poem had the same name as the food. 

④There is a similar kind of food in Holland called Hagelslag. It's bread with chocolate on it. But Hagelslag isn't just for birthdays; you can enjoy it at any time you want. Yummy!
