Andean bears mainly live in South America. They can be recognized(认出) because of their appearance. Andean bears depend on trees in the mountains for food. However, a lot of  has been used as farms. So the bears began eating things on the farms. To protect their wealth, the farmers chose to the bears. 

Velez-Liendo, conservation biologist(生物保护学家), knew the forests in Tarija were the bears' home and also a hot place for fights  people and bears. When someone in Tarija showed  new bee boxes, she thought: Could selling honey help save the bears?

Training farmers as beekeepers became  . It's a great way for them to make money,  they might turn to clearing more forests. Velez-Liendo invited an expert(专家) to take part in the  program. Farmers could get money and receive training. And they could sell the honey in the shopping centers. In exchange, community agreed to protect the forest and not do something bad to Andean bears. 

As more and more families take part in the program, Andean bears  has become larger than before.

On a warm afternoon, I opened the front door. My dog Max suddenly1 . His tail wagged(摇) wildly, 2 how happy he was to see me. Dogs can adapt to(适应) different 3 . In winter, Max loves running in the snow, and in summer, he enjoys lying in cold places.

One of my friends, Linda, is quite (different) from me. She is outgoing and loves singing, but I'm quiet and enjoy reading. She invites me to join the music club. Then, Ipractise singing as hard I can. Sometimes, she gives me advice on how to sing better. It is really (useful). Now, I enjoy singing very much. I can sing clearly than others in the music class. 

After school, we often do some sports and play games together, so I spend(little) time on TV shows than before. I think Ican become stronger and (healthy)in this way.

Lucy was one of my best friends. I thought she was the same as me when we first met. In , it was hard to find a person who was the same as me. 

As time went by, I found that we were quite different from each other. I was  and liked to stay in a quiet place, but whenever Lucy was around, it always became noisy. I didn't like this because it made me feel . I still wanted us to be friends, but I didn't know how to  this problem. 

One day, I decided to talk with her about this problem. But on the way to my house, I fell off my bike and  my right leg. She came to look after me as soon as she heard about it. She was worried about me and also gave me a lot of helpful  . 

"Thank you very much for for me, Lucy. You really warmed my in the past few days, " I told her. 

"You' re welcome. I'm so glad that I could help you, " Lucy said with a smile on her face. 

Then, I realized that Lucy was a true friend of  . And I also had a better under-standing of the saying, "A true friend  for your hand and touches your heart. "

Bill was popular at his school. He was outgoing and always (help). What's more, he worked very hard and did well in all his (subject). Everyone in his class liked him. 

One day, new student namedHarry came to his class. He was quite different  Bill. He was taller and (strong) than Bill. But he was (lazy) than Bill. As a result, he always got lower grades than Bill. But Harry and Bill had the (same) hobby. They both liked tennis, Harry could play better. So he (win) more prizes than Bill last year. They did lots of things together. 

A few months later, Bill found that (he) schoolwork got more difficult. And he couldn't work out many problems. He knew the reason was that he (spend) less time on his studies. He also (expect)that Harry could study much better, so he told Harry to study together.  the end, both of them decided to study harder. After a period of hard work, their grades (become) better. And Harry was happy that Bill made a big (different) to him. 

Bill was one of the most important friends for Harry. He thinks that friends are like books——you don't need a lot of them as long as they' re good.

Housework is an important part of our everyday life. As middle school students, we  understand the importance of doing housework and do some housework by ourselves. 

Doing chores teaches us some useful life skills. Take me as an example. I cook until I was twelve. One day, I thought if I could  some simple(简单的) dishes, my parents wouldn't worry about me when they were busy with work. Then I told my mother about it and asked her, "Could teach me?" My mother nodded with a smile. Amonth later, I  cook some simple dishes. This skill helped me become more independent(独立的). At the same time, doing housework is a great way to relax. For example, when I couldn't work out a math problem, I  tidy up my room to clear my mind. 

So, let's all try to do some housework. It's good for us and our family.
