My Digital Life

It's highly possible that robots will be used to help human teachers in the near future. That's according to a study by scientists from universities in the USA, Japan and some European countries. The study has looked up more than 100 published articles, which have shown robots to be effective in increasing learning results. 

Because of pressures on teaching budgets(预算), and calls for more personalised teaching, scientists have started to build robots for the classroom-not the robots used to learn about technology and maths, but social robots that can actually teach. The study shows robots are skilled in teaching certain subjects, such as vocabulary and numbers. 

Robots can free up time for teachers, allowing them to focus on what people still do best. 

Recent developments in China may provide us with a glimpse(一瞥) of the future. 

The Hong Kong-based English language newspaper, South China Morning Post, has reported some kindergartens(幼儿园)across China have used AI robots to help interact with the children. 

The AI robots interact with the young children by playing games with them, singing , dancing , reading stories, carrying out conversations and even doing maths. 

Since 2016, the AI robots have been used in about 200 kindergartens across China, the newspaper reported. 

So can we expect to see robots helping us at school? How soon will it be before you see a robot in a classroom near you?

ChatGPT is a new AI chatbot. "Chatbot"  (mean) a robot that can chat with people. The dialogue format(程式) allows ChatGPT  (answer) questions, admit mistakes, and refuse bad requests. After coming out, it has reached 100 million users just for two months. People want to get an  (excite) and special experience from it. 

GPT technology can help people do a lot of things  ( quick) and correctly. This new technology can make people use  (little) time to do more things. It can also help reduce the risk of  (make) mistakes, and GPT can not only think like humans but also work like computers. 

It is reported that the  (invent) passed the United States Medical Licensing Exam(行医资格测评). In a report, ChatGPT almost passed three exams without  (some) training. Besides, ChatGPT may take the place of people to do many jobs. Experts said some jobs could

Digital Life: Transforming My Daily Routine

In modern society, digital devices are everywhere, and they have deeply influenced my life. . My smartphone, in particular, has become an essential part of my daily activities, bringing both convenience and efficiency. Last summer, I planned a solo trip to a coastal city. In the past, planning a trip involved a lot of time spent in libraries looking through travel books or making phone calls to travel agencies. But this time, my smartphone made everything different. 

First, I used various travel apps. The map-navigation apps showed me the best routes to get to my destination, including different transportation options and their corresponding costs. I could also check real-time traffic information to avoid jams. Additionally, I used hotel-booking apps to find a comfortable and affordable place to stay. These apps provided detailed reviews from other travellers, which helped me make the right choice. 

During the trip, my smartphone served as my personal tour guide. I could search for popular tourist attractions, local restaurants, and unique shops nearby. It also allowed me to capture beautiful moments. With the high-quality camera on my phone, I took numerous pictures of the stunning seascapes and ancient architectures. Then, I shared these photos with my friends and family instantly through social media apps, making them feel like they were with me on the trip. 

It has not only simplified the process of trip planning but also enhanced my travel experience. I believe digital devices will continue to play an even more significant role in our lives as technology advances. 

Smart homes are becoming more and more popular these days. What is a smart home? A smart home is a living space with advanced technology. It allows you to control different devices in your home by just tapping on your smartphone-whether you're at home or on your way to work. 

Smart homes include smart devices and systems, such as locks, fridges, bulbs, washing machines. . . You may wonder how they work. Smart speakers are used to play music or answer questions with voices. Smart lighting system can be controlled remotely according to your schedule. Smart fridges might suggest recipes and even order food you need. All these devices work together as one to make your home smarter and your life easier. 

What are the advantages of a smart home? Firstly, it is convenient. You can control your home with smartphones or voices. Secondly, it's helpful to avoid the unnecessary waste, so it possibly benefits the environment. Thirdly, if anything unusual happens around your home, the systems may begin to work to protect you and your home immediately. 

However, it may not be for everybody. Smart devices are typically more expensive than the traditional ones. What's more, smart home systems rely on connectivity and data collection, so privacy concerns may arise.

My Digital Life Experience

My digital life journey began when I1 my first tablet. It was a small, lightweight device, but it opened     up a world of possibilities for me. 

At first, I was fascinated by the various apps available. I2 hours exploring different games, from puzzle games that tested my brain to action-packed adventures. One of my favourite games was a building- simulation game where I could3 my own virtual city. It was so much fun to design the layout, build skyscrapers, and manage the city's resources. 

As I got more familiar with the tablet, I discovered the joy of e-reading. There were countless e-books available for me to4 from. Whether it was a thrilling mystery novel or an educational science-fiction story, I could5 myself in the world created by the words on the screen. I also used the tablet for6 . I downloaded some language-learning apps and started to practise English every day. These apps made learning a new language7 and engaging.

With the development of science and technology, AI robots are entering more families. Last month, my family bought a smart robot named "TechHelper". It  (design) to make our daily life easier. Every morning, it wakes me up by playing soft music and even prepares a healthy breakfast based on our (prefer).
