Stress is a common problem for students when an exam is coming. Many students worry about getting a low(得分). They often wait(紧张不安) for their results. If they don't do well, they may feel like a(失败). Some even feel (孤单) because they think no one understands them

What is the reason for pain? Pain hurts us, but could it be good for us? Is pain in fact helpful?

Pain is the body's way to tell us that something is wrong so that we stop what we are doing to protect the body. For example, if you break your leg, pain stops you from walking on it. If you didn't feel any pain, you would continue walking around and you could hurt your leg more. But why does it continue to hurt even after you stop walking on your hurt leg? It is because your body needs you to rest so as to have the energy to mend (愈合) the broken leg.

But how does pain work? We have special cells (细胞) in our eyes, and inside our bodies too. When something goes wrong, these cells send messages to the brain (脑). The brain then makes us feel pain, so we will stop doing things causing the pain. Put your hand on a hot pan, and your hand's cells tell your brain. You are able to quickly move your hand away from the heat. At the same time, your brain gets the message that something is wrong and you need to care for your hand. It all happens in less than a second.

But did you know that the brain itself cannot feel pain? In fact, when doctors cut into the brain, they do not let the person sleep. Because the person does not feel any pain in the brain, it is thought to be much safer if the person is awake while the doctor works.

Sitting all day may make you feel awful. What can you do about it?

A famous fitness coach Mike Fitch created Animal Flow. a fun way to exercise, in 2015. You move your body on the ground as different animals do when you practice Animal

Flow. You don't need any equipment (器材) for it, but it helps you become stronger.

When practicing Animal Flow, you get your body to move in different ways, such as walking like a duck and jumping like a frog. The actions look easy. In fact, they help you get full - body exercise. Take Crab Reach as an example. Start from sitting on the ground. Lift your hips (臀部) up off the ground and balance on one arm. As you rise up, try to extend (伸展) the other arm backward. The action can make your tired body relaxed after you sit for long.

Here are some tips to get Animal Flow started in the right way. Find a quiet place. Don't choose beaches because they make you feel tired quickly. Also, you'd better not wear shoes. It's good for you to improve balance. Warm up your wrists (手腕). They hold the weight of your body in many Animal Flow actions. Remember to do some easy actions first if you're too fat, or you'll easily get hurt.

Take your time and move slowly to get the most from Animal Flow.

Rob had problems with bullies at school for eleven years. He was often scared and tired. When he was fifteen, however, he decided to do something about his problems. He walked into a newspaper office and told them about the bullying. His story went into the newspaper and soon all the TV stations in Canada wanted to talk to him about his experiences.

After that, Rob continued his studies at school, but in his free time he helped other people with bullying problems. With a friend Katie, he made a website called www.bullyingcanada.ca. People to the website can find advice, stories and poems about bullying, in both English and French. When people are upset, they can talk on the phone or online to Rob and his team. Every weekend Rob has to answer emails to the website. He also speaks to children, teachers and members of government (政府) around the country about bullying.

Rob's most important message is "When bullies are unkind to you, it isn't your fault. There's nothing wrong with you, so you should try to keep trusting yourself. And remember that there are people caring about your problems. You just have to find those people."

One of Rob's ideas is "Blue Day", a special day for stopping bullying in schools. Students have to wear blue clothes and in class they learn how to stop bullying. More than 150 Canadian schools now celebrate Blue Day, but Rob won't stop until there's a Blue Day in every school in Canada.

In a bookstore, we had an interview with Alex White, an author of foreign language learning books. His new series "Language Adventures" has been a hit, helping many learners on their language-learning journey.

Reporter: Why did you write the language books?

Alex White: Well, when I was living abroad as an exchange student,Her passion for learning new languages inspired me to write books that make language learning fun.

Reporter: How were the people there?

Alex White: Their kindness made me feel at home, and their daily conversations were full of language learning chances. These experiences became part of my writing material.
