Have you ever been angry at someone when you are hungry? If so, you've experienced "hangry", which makes people get angry, irritable(易怒的), worried and so on. The reason for this lies in what happens inside your body when it needs food.

Everything you eat would be changed into different kinds of nutrients(营养物质) in the body. These nutrients would enter your blood, be passed to every part and then be used for creating energy. As time passes after your last meal, the blood sugar drops. Unlike other parts in your body, the brain totally depends on blood sugar to do its job. If you don't eat for some time, your brain doesn't have enough energy. Then it's hard to focus on some simple things. For example, you might have noticed that you can't even speak clearly when you' re too hungry.

Another thing that happens when you' re hungry is behaving impolitely and can't control yourself, such as shouting at others. In that case, even though you may already try your best to avoid arguments with important friends, you may still be too angry to control yourself when you are staying with the people you feel relaxed with. That's why you may find yourself having no patience with parents or friends, which makes you even more worried.

So what should we do to avoid being hangry? The easiest way is to eat something as soon as you get too hungry. The best choice is to have some nutrient-rich and natural foods that help deal with hunger quickly and can be kept in our body as long as possible, but not fast food. The final way is to suggest that difficult situations should be dealt with after a meal.

Hangry is common. Becoming hangry isn't necessarily a health worry. What will you do when facing it next time? For me, I'll stop the ongoing task, and enjoy something delicious.

Ludwig van Beethoven was a German composer(作曲家) and widely considered to be one of the greatest. He is the key musician who  the Classical and Romantic ages of Western music. Some of his famous works were created during the last 10 years of his life when his personal life was marked by a fight deafness.

Among all his works, the nine symphonies(交响曲) are the best known. When Beethoven died in1827, he had some ideas for a 10th symphony, but he didn't realize it. All that he left behind were some musical  about the piece and a few "sketches(草图)".

In 2019, a special team of musicians, computer  and historians was formed to finish Beethoven's 10th symphony. They wanted to produce the symphony that Beethoven had planned to write. Although the task was , nobody gave it up. Some team members turned every piece of music by Beethoven into a language the computer could understand. Others studied Beethoven's sketches to find out , he was planning to do.

On October 9, 2021, the piece was successfully completed and  performed by the Beethoven Orchestra(交响乐团) in Bonn, Germany. Though Beethoven didn't write it all, the team feels sure that the music is very much like what he might have composed. They all hope it is  that he would be satisfied with.

Imagine having an app that works like this: When you need help, just open the app, touch the "notOK"button and a text message will be sent to up to five pre-selected(预先选定的) people, along with a location to show where you are. The message reads, "Hey, I'm not OK. Please call me, text me, or come to find me."

US teenagers Hannah Lucas, 15, and her brother Charlie, 13, have created an app called notOK. It came out in the US and Canada on Jan. 31st. People just pay $1.99 each month to use it.

Hannah was encouraged to create the app during a dark time in her life last year. She suffered(遭遇)from a disease that caused her to pass out(昏倒) at school. Other kids sometimes bullied(欺凌) her about this. She felt sad and wanted to find an app that would allow her to get help when she was in trouble.

She asked her brother Charlie, whose nickname is "Tech Support", to find such an app. When they couldn't find one, they decided to create one themselves.

They came up with some designs for the app first. Charlie took a programming class last summer and built a website for the app. Hannah also shared her idea in her summer business class. Some app developers showed interest and decided to help her.

Hannah is happy that her app is helping others. "It makes everything I went through last year worth it," she said.

If we use the rule of three in our daily lives, we can make many things easier. For example, many people like to add lots of tasks to their to-do lists. Experts, however, suggest they cut them down to just three. These top three tasks should be challenging while still achievable. And the next time you are making New Year's resolutions, consider listing only three things to work on.

The beginning of summer, called Lixia in Chinese, starts between May 5th and 7th. It is the first day of summer in traditional Chinese culture.

At Lixia, many changes happen in nature. During this time, the weather becomes warmer, and it also brings different weather. For example, southern places like Guangdong have heavy rains and hot days, while northern areas like Heilongjiang are still cool. The Chinese word for summer, Xia, means"to grow big",showing how plants and animals become strong. Frogs and insects make loud sounds in the fields. Earthworms come out of the ground to soften the soil, helping farmers grow crops. In northern China, a special plant called Wangg ua starts to climb and bear fruits. Farmers say"Look at the summer harvest at Lixia." because crops like winter wheat are almost ready to be picked.

People celebrate Lixia with fun customs. Families boil eggs with tea leaves and give them to children to protect them from summer sickness. Another tradition is weighing people to wish them good health. Eating fresh foods like cherries, green plums, and new grains is also popular, as they taste sweet and fresh in early summer. To stay healthy, people follow simple rules: keep calm, eat light meals with vegetables, and rest for a short time at noon when days are longer.

Lixia is not just a season but a cultural treasure. It connects ancient farming life with modern times,teaching' us to live in harmony(和谐) with nature. From poems to family traditions, Lixia reminds everyone to enjoy the energy and beauty of summer.

In Korea, there was a cute puppy, Pudding. Pudding lived (happy) with its owner's family in a small village.

However, a terrible plane crash happened. Pudding's owner and the whole family of nine (die). But Pudding didn't understand  had happened. It still waited for its owner to come back home every day. It had to look for food by (it) to survive.
