Guyuan No.2 Middle School is a school in Ningxia, China. Since（自从）1995, every year before Qingming Festival, students and teachers of this school walk 54 kilometers to Renshanhe Martyrs Monument（任山河烈士陵园）. Some people ask a question: Is it still necessary to do this now?

Zhang Hua, a student from the school answers this question. She says, this long walk is a good way to exercise, it's good for our bodies. It also shows our respect to the mlars. These mlars fought for（为······奋斗）our happy life many years ago. We learn from them: when we meet difficulties, we should never give up.

On the way, students help each other. When they get to the monument, they clean the tombstones（墓碑）carefully. They also place flowers and light candles. They stand in silence to show their respect and listen to the heroes' stories.

This activity is very meaningful. It teaches students to love our country and always remember the heroes.

There are many kinds of junk food. They look nice  taste good. Many children love junk food. Although（尽管）they know it's not a good  to eat junk food, they still love it. Their  don't want them to eat too much junk food, because it's bad for their health. Some of them eat junk food every day. Some eat more than three  a week. As a result, they don't have a healthy body.

Bill eats lots of hamburgers  he loves them. He hardly exercises. He doesn't eat fruit or vegetables and he never  milk. When he has money, he' ll buy junk food to eat. One day, Bill feels very bad. His parents  him to the hospital . The doctor says he is ill because he eats too much junk food and never exercises. Bill feels  sorry. He starts to eat fruit, vegetables and drink milk every day. He also does exercise every morning. Soon, he becomes  again.

This story tells us: Junk food is bad for our bodies.  should eat healthy food and do more exercise to keep strong and fit.

Every March, China holds two important meetings in Beijing. We call them the Two Sessions（两会）. In 2026, they were held from March 4 to March 12.

We can think of China as a big family. The Two Sessions are like our family meeting. About 5,000 deputies and advisors（代表和委员）come to Beijing from all over the country. They are teachers, doctors, farmers, workers. .. They talk about our country's development （发展）and make plans for the future.

The year 2026 is special. It is the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan. People talk about many things around our daily life, such as nice schools, clean air, beautiful parks and amazing cities. They also care about students' studies and after-school activities.

You might think, "I only care about my toys and snacks!" But the Two Sessions are not only for grown-ups（成年人）. They influence our lives a lot. It can bring us nicer schools, cleaner air and happier lives. Learning about the Two Sessions helps us know our country better.

Here are three famous museums in different places. When you go there, you should follow the rules.

A little bird lives in a big forest. He likes singing very much. He wants to sing well and make other animals like him. But he is very lazy. He never1 every day.

Eat Real Food: A New Guide for Healthy Living

The new Dietary Guidelines for Americans,2025-2030, tell us one simple message: eat real food to stay healthy.

Right now, many people face a big health problem. Many Americans eat too much highly processed（加工的）food, like chips and cookies. This makes lots of people overweight or sick with chronic（慢性的）diseases. More than 70% of adults are overweight, even some young students and teenagers have prediabetes（糖尿病前期）. These problems often come from eating too much highly processed food—like chips, cookies, and sugary drinks—and not moving enough. It means that they come from bad eating habits and little exercise.

The guidelines ask us to go back to eat real, healthy food. We should choose whole,nutrient-dense foods: protein, dairy, vegetables, fruits, healthy fats, and whole grains. We need to cut down on processed foods with added sugars, too much salt, and chemical additives（添加剂）.

This is a big change. For many years, our food system pushed unhealthy processed foods. Now, we want to change that. We want to help farmers grow real food and make sure all families can buy it. Real food nourishes our bodies, gives us energy, and helps us stay strong.

Everyone can help: students, farmers, doctors, and lawmakers. If we eat more real food,we can build a healthier future for the world. Our health is in our own hands.

We are teenagers full of energy, and today we take part in a special trip to the Children's Home. Our teacher says, "Guess what? We will look after the  there and try our best to make them happy."

On the way, we talk about our plan. Some of us will pick up  to keep the yard clean, instead of leaving it untidy. Others focus  singing songs and playing games. We work out a plan together and hope to get on well with kids there..

However, not everything goes smoothly at first. A few kids are shy and hardly ever speak; they join our group activities. One little girl seems quiet and  , and we she may have trouble with communicating（交流）. So we do not crowd around her or touch her without care.  , we take it slow and help one another to be kind and patient.

We bring some snacks to share with the kids—they are enough to fill our tummies and give us all energy to play. While playing games, we kindly correct small mistakes the kids make, and we show them our interesting storybooks and toys. We try to think of new ways to make them smile, and we take in the joy of seeing their faces light up.

Among us, everyone feels warm. We learn that happiness  to every person. we work together, we make progress and get away from unhappiness. It is an unusual and perfect day for all of us.
