Second, we should eat three meals on time every day. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  Skipping breakfast will make us feel tired and study badly in class. We shouldn't eat too much for dinner, because we don't do much exercise at night.

Third, we should stay away from junk food like hamburgers and potato chips.  Eating too much junk food can make us fat and unhealthy.

Besides, we should drink enough water every day. Water is the best drink for us.  If we follow these healthy eating habits, we will keep healthy and full of energy every day.

The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, is one of the most famous places of interest in China. It lies in the center of Beijing and has a history of more than 600 years.

It was built in the Ming Dynasty and was the home of 24 emperors in Chinese history. It is the largest and best-preserved wooden palace building in the world. The whole palace has more than 9000 rooms, with beautiful golden roofs and red walls. It looks very great and splendid.

There are many valuable old things in the Palace Museum, such as paintings, calligraphy, porcelain and jade articles. They show the wisdom and hard work of ancient Chinese people. Every year, millions of visitors from all over the world come to visit it. They can learn about Chinese history and traditional culture by visiting different halls and exhibitions.

Now, the Palace Museum is not only a place to visit, but also a symbol of Chinese culture. It opens its arms to people all over the world and lets more people know about the long history of China.

Ye Kaiyuan, a 38-year-old artist from Zhangpu, Fujian, masters Chinese art of paper-cutting. With great love for traditional literature, Eastern symbols, and Shanshui paintings, Ye creates paper artworks that bridge the past and present. Using simple tools like scissors and a knife, he turns paper into famous scenes in Chinese culture. "Paper-cutting allows me to express my understanding of life and the world," Ye says.

Born in a place known as the "hometown of paper-cutting", Ye developed his interest in the craft as a child. Although he was born to a poor family, he managed to keep his hobby by using materials from paper boxes. However, when he grew up, he faced pressure to choose a career that provides enough money for living. After working different jobs—from waiter to tea seller—he gave up his job in 2011 to focus exclusively on paper-cutting. "Life is only meaningful if you do what you love," he explains.

Ye's journey was not easy. In 2012, his first exhibition, which he had spent tens of thousands of yuan to hold, sold only one piece for 328 yuan. "There was a moment when I thought about giving up, but I believed in the value of my craft," he says.

His workshop, Yile Paper-Cutting Art, now creates pieces mixing tradition with modern art. Different from the traditional way of the craft, in which the drawing is done first and then the cutting, he splashes (洒) black, red or yellow ink (墨水) on rice paper, then draws detailed designs and finally cuts out the paper creation. "The unexpected pattern is the most interesting part, and I think being natural is beautiful," He says. The creative way is usually slow. It usually takes Ye at least two weeks to complete a paper-cutting work.

His hard work made him well-known around the world and UNESCO listed Zhangpu paper-cutting as intangible cultural heritage in 2009. "I want to bring paper-cutting to everyday life, letting more people get to know the craft," Ye says, showing that ancient crafts can keep alive in the modern world.

Huang Xuhua is known as the "Father of China's Nuclear Submarine". He was born in Shanwei, Guangdong in 1926.

When he was young, he saw the country was in great need of national defense technology. He made up his mind to study hard and do something for our motherland.

In 1958, he took on the top-secret task of building China's first nuclear submarine. At that time, China had no modern technology or enough experience for this difficult job. Huang Xuhua lived away from his family and hid his name for 30 years. Even his family didn't know what he was doing.

He worked hard with his team day and night. They did thousands of tests and used simple tools to work out difficult numbers. Finally, China's first nuclear submarine was successfully built in the 1970s. China became the fifth country in the world to have nuclear submarine technology.

Huang Xuhua devoted all his life to China's nuclear submarine cause. He won many high prizes for his great work. He passed away in 2025 at the age of 99, but his spirit of loving the country and working hard will always encourage us Chinese people.

Life at Cambridge was exciting for Charles. Then bug-collecting was a 1 activity among the students there. They would spend a lot of time looking for insects and hold competitions to see who could find the most 2 bugs! Bug-mad Charles soon became one of these "collectors".

As a medical student from Bangladesh, Sophia had long heard about the"magic" of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine(TCM). Sophia neverto  experience it in person until she visited Yunfu, a beautiful city in southern China.

One sunny morning, Sophia visited a local medical herb(药草) with her Chinese friend. As soon as they stepped through the gate, a fresh and pleasant smell of herbs swept over . The air was filled with the earthy smell mixed with the smell of all kinds of. Sophia picked some green leaves  , and her friend told her these were used to make herbal tea for clearing heat.

Later, they went to a TCM clinic(诊所), where an old doctor showed Sophia how to turn herbsmedicine. The doctor also told her about the use of different herbs."I even got a chance to  a cup of warm herbal soup, which was bitter(苦的) at first but left a sweet aftertaste." The most  part was trying moxibustion(艾灸)."It made me feel comfortable," Sophia said to her friend. It was surprising for Sophia to see how TCM uses natural things to help people stay .

From this trip, Sophia understood TCM is not only about"magic" things,   it's the wisdom that connects humans with nature. She will never forget this special experience in Yunfu.

Sunflowers are among the most wonderful plants on our planet. With bright yellow flowers, green leaves and tall stems(茎), they not only add beauty to the environment but also play a key role in protecting it. These plants can grow quite tall, and their large flower heads follow the sun across the sky daily. More importantly, they offer a lot of environmental benefits.
