Our school will host a Chinese Classical Literature Night! This event will explore some famous classical works, including the three treasures of ancient Chinese culture: Tang poetry, Song lyrics, and Yuan opera.

Tang Poetry (618-907 AD)

Tang poetry is famous for its clear rules and beautiful nature scenes. Poets like Li Bai and Du Fu wrote about feelings everyone understands. Li Bai, the "Poet Immortal (诗仙)", used simple words to describe the moon and mountains. His poem Quiet Night Thought talks about missing home. Du Fu, the "poet Sage(诗圣)", wrote about real problems like war and poor people's lives.

Life is always changing, Sometimes that's great, but at other times it can make us feel unsure or worried. 

What are life changes?

Life changes come in many forms. Some are happy and positive things like joining a new club or making a friend.  For example, moving to a new school, a friend moving away, or changes at home due to a family separation. Even smaller things, like a new teacher or a different plan at home, can have an effect on how we feel.  That's completely normal.

Why canit be hard to deal with?

Can a change be a good thing?

Nishinari's earlier work found that ants don't get jammed up even in crowded conditions. So what's their secret? In a recent study, researchers watched ants and used traffic models to study their movement, They discovered that ants travel in small groups of three to twenty, moving at the same speed and keeping safe space between each other, They don't speed up to pass others. This avoid jams in the flow of their movement.

Unlike ants, human drivers at rush hour are hardly willing to follow such rules, and that causes traffic jams, However, self-driving cars could be programmed to cooperate. These cars would share information with nearby cars to optimize traffic flow, much like ants use smell to communicate.

Ants have many advantages, such as being able to walk on walls when blocked. There is something drivers can learn from them: don't drive too closely behind another car. Keeping space between cars can avoid unnecessary slowing down or stopping, which helps traffic flow without creating traffic jams. Simple cooperation, like ants, could help reduce traffic problems.

A sad thing happened when Zhong Ziqi got sick and died. Heartbroken, Yu Boya broke his guqin at his friend's grave, saying, "Now that Ziqi is gone, who will hear my songs?" He never played again. This story, laterimmortalized in the saying "Boya Breaking the Zither for Ziqi", became a symbol of deep friendship and losing a soulmate.

The story's enduring legacy comes not just from its feelings but also its cultural importance. In Chinese beliefs, true friendship goes beyond social ranks—Yu Boya was a nobleman, while Zhong Ziqi a common worker. Their bond focused on deep connection rather than wealth.

Today, zhiyin means any rare friendship where people truly understand each other's hearts.

②Many teachers are supporters of using PDA in language learning. They say that students now have a lot more time for discussion in the classroom. Dan and Kevin go behind the curtain and sit on the floor against the wall. Dylan lies down next to them and closes his eyes. The boys turn their torches off. They don't talk. They sit and wait.

It's dark but Dan can see the time on his watch.12:30 comes and goes.

Very slowly Kevin and Dan look out from behind the curtain. A person dressed all in black is standing in the middle of the hall. It is Chloe. She' s looking round. She starts moving chairs and looking for something. Then she walks across to the piano. She plays a little music on the piano and smiles.

Dan looks at Kevin. Kevin looks at Dan. "Chloe smiling?" their looks say.

The boys look around the curtain again. Chloe is looking around the room again. She looks towards the curtain. Dan and Kevin move their heads back quickly.

Then they hear Chloe say, "Ah! There it is." And they hear her walk towards the curtain. She takes something off a chair near the curtain and then sees the two boys sitting on the floor.

"What are you doing here?" she asks.

"What are you doing here?" asks Dan.

Chloe shows him her mobile phone. "But what about you two?" she asks.

Kevin takes some chocolate out of his pocket and shows it to Chloe.

"We're having a midnight picnic." he says.

Dylan sees the chocolate and starts wagging his tail.

Chloe gives both the boys a strange look, turns off the lights and leaves.

"It's not Chloe then," says Dan.

"No," says Kevin.

"Be patient!" says Dan.
