Around the world, people have different traditional foods to celebrate different festivals. Traditional foods also show a new year of good luck and good health. 

An English Christmas dinner has a meal of turkey, and it also includes pies and plum puddings. In Germany, Christmas is celebrated with bread, cookies and cakes, which are made like Christmas trees. In France, Christmas dessert is a cake filled with butter cream. 

In southern parts of India, there is a three-day festival in mid-January called Pongal. It includes rice and a dish of rice cooked with sugar that is shared with family and friends. 

Japan celebrates the New Year with a seven-day festival. It begins from January 1st. Food is prepared before the festival so people don't need to cook during the festival. On New Year's Day, various dishes called Osechi-ryori(御节料理) are served— each dish is a wish for the New Year. 

In most Asian countries, the New Year begins with the first full moon of the first Chinese Lunar month. Each place has its special food to welcome the coming year. People in China prepare their food ahead of time to avoid the possibility that using a knife during the New Year might "cut luck". Foods with lucky names are popular, such as fish, which sounds like "surplus".

It's normal for our planet to change, but at the moment, scientists think it's changing faster than usual. Some deserts are growing and many forests are getting smaller. The weather is getting wetter in some places and drier in others, and there are more big storms. According to the research, sea level will continue to rise in the next hundred years. As a result, many cities will possibly be covered by water and much of the most productive farming areas will be lost. Some island countries are likely to disappear on the map of the world. 

These changes will bring great harm to the planet. However, they can be beneficial to some people. For example, as the Arctic is getting warmer, some people in Greenland now own businesses and sell vegetables they grow on their land. That wasn't possible in the far north 50 years ago. Farmers in Greenland like the warm weather and hope it will continue.

Chinese scientists have achieved a significant milestone by developing a three- dimensional (3D) architected electronic skin for the first time. The electronic skin, developed by a research team led by Professor Zhang from Tsinghua University. This new electronic skin is very good. It can simultaneously decode and sense three mechanical signals— pressure, friction and strain. Also, it can sense where the pressure is, like real human skin. 

Zhang said, "Electronic skin is a new kind of sensor. It copies what human skin can feel. Later, it can be on the fingers of medical robots for early finding and treating problems. It can also be like a band-aid to human skin to monitor health data like blood oxygen and heart rate. "

The 3D electronic skin provides a new path for the development and application of electronic skin. It can be used in many areas like industrial robotics, biological detection, biomedicine and human-computer interaction. 

Zhang said that human skin can feel mechanical signals because it has many cells in a 3Dway. But in the development of electronic skin, recognizing and decoding many signals at the same time for precise touch sensing has been a very hard challenge. 

The electronic skin has layers like human skin. Sensors and circuits are in different parts. Some sensors close to the skin surface are sensitive to outside forces well. Those distributed deeper are more sensitive to skin changing better. Zhang said that an area of electronic skin the size of the tip of the index finger has 240 metal sensors.

What's more, it is necessary to follow a healthy lifestyle. It not only helps people keep a healthy weight but also protects their bodies. One important lifestyle factor is stress. Stress can lead to overeating, which can further lead to overweight. So, finding healthy ways to manage stress can help you keep a healthy weight. For example, simple breathing exercises and morning exercises help manage stress. Not getting enough sleep is another factor that makes you put on weight. Sleep is important, and at least seven to eight hours of sleep each night can help keep a healthy weight. 

Making small changes every day can make a big difference to your health.

Can you believe I'm in a school of 2090 now? The school is like   beautiful garden. The wall of   classroom is colorful. Our school life is   and wonderful. In the morning, we have three  . We study on the Internet. We use the e-books. The teachers are all robots. They  in different sizes and they can answer any question about any subject. Our robot music teacher plays the violin  . In the afternoon, we go to Mars to have two classes by plane. That  like our plane and spaceship. I can make friends   aliens. They are  and know us well. After class, we play  with aliens. Then we go back to the Earth. Don't you think the life in this school is very interesting?

Surprise plays an important role in our lives. Last term my classmates and I gave our teacher a big 1 . Our teacher had a bad 2 and coughed a lot. She could hardly speak a sentence. When we looked at her pale face, we 3 the warmth she always gave us. So we decided to do 4 for her. Since Christmas was coming at that time, we planned a surprise for her. I made a postcard and wrote, "I hope you get 5 soon".
