Positive(积极的) people are usually happy. They often have a lot of friends. When they have a problem, they try to change the problem i a chance. They believe things always work out. But can positive thinking really make someone's life better? Many scientists are s positive thinking. They are finding out some very interesting information.

At work Dr. Michael is a professor in Germany. His research shows that positive people do w in jobs. There are several reasons for this. Positive people are creative. They don't expect others to help them with problems. They solve problems t . And positive people don't give up. They keep trying to learn new things. 

Becoming Positive

In the past, scientists thought attitude n changed. Now, many psychologists think people can become more positive. There are many different ways to change. Here are some e. 

First, think about good events in your life. At the end of a day, ask, find interesting a to do. Laugh at a funny movie or read a good book. Finally, always try new things. For example, you can talk to people you don't know or shop in a different store. Do different things every day. 

A Good Life

Life can be d sometimes. Don't give up or be negative. Take action. Think about the future and make a plan. You can learn to be positive. 

My wife and I moved into our home two years ago. We had a yard 1 a lot of rocks. Very often when we have flowers, Denise or I would plant some between the rocks, just to add some color to the area. 

Last summer, I found a tiny little plant in the yard that I could not immediately tell what it was. I knew I didn't plant it and Denise said she didn't,2 . 

We decided to let it continue growing until we could find out what it was. 

Weeks passed and as I made my way back to the strange plant, it 3 to be a sunflower. I decided to remove the weeds(杂草) around it. As I pulled rocks from the area to get to the weeds, I noticed something 4 . The sunflower had not 5 where I saw it begin, it actually had begun under a big rock and grown under and round it to reach the 6 . 

That's when I 7 that if a tiny little sunflower didn't let a big rock stand in its way of developing, we also have the ability to do the same thing. If we 8 ourselves like that little sunflower, we can reach where we aim to go and get 9 we need for growth. 

Stand tall like the sunflower and be 10 of who and what we are, we will find a way to go under or around any"rock" in order to reach our goals.

Different cultures have different family values. Family members in the East and West are very different from each other. 

Chinese culture values family ties very much. Family members not only gather during holidays, but often live under one roof year-round. In Chinese culture, it's common to see three or even four generations living together. Chinese people believe that a grandparent is a treasure to their family. According to a survey, about 80 percent of children had been or were being cared for by their grandparents in the past ten years. But in many Western countries, most families are nuclear families. These families are made up of just children and their parents. 

The duties parents have toward their children can also be different. In China, many parents look after their children all the way into adulthood. It's normal for parents to pay for their children's college and help them find a job. When Chinese make decisions, they often follow their parents' opinions. 

In most Western countries, however, kids usually move out of the house after they turn18. Many of them work part-time jobs to pay for college and rent. Few of people keep living with their parents after becoming an adult. In fact, it can be seen as a failure on their part in many Western countries. 

While Chinese care more about close family ties, Western people think being independent is more valuable. But in the end, east or west, home is best. Families will always be a source of love and warmth.

A growing number of Chinese tourists are choosing Kazakhstan as their travel place because of better visa rules, easy flights and tourism promotion. 

After visa-free travel between China and Kazakhstan started in November, more Chinese travelers like the country. The visa rules say Chinese and Kazakh citizens can stay in each other's country for up to 30 days for one visit and no more than 90 days in total within 180 days for many visits. This covers things like personal things, tourism, medical care, international transport, transit and business. 

CYTS Tours had a self-drive tour from Xinjiang in mid-June and it was very popular. The best time for tourism in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries is expected to last until the end of summer. 

Central Asian places, especially Kazakhstan, have become more popular after China's outbound travel market fully came back in 2023 and especially after the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation was held in Beijing in October. 

The start of Kazakhstan Tourism Year in Beijing in March made more Chinese travelers know about it and they are very interested. Utour made a 23-day tour to the area and got good comments. The company used good hotel resources and local things like traditional songs and dances to let tourists know more about the charm of Central Asian countries. 

Since 2023, direct flights between China and Central Asia have slowly started again and there are new routes. Travelers can fly directly to Kazakhstan from cities like Beijing, Xi' an, Urumqi and Hangzhou, or they can go by road from Horgos. 

Last year, the number of Chinese travelers to Kazakhstan went up more than ten times to367, 000. Kairat Sadvakassov, the chairman of Kazakh Tourism National Co. , thinks this number will be 500, 000 this year. Kazakhstan plans to promote different kinds of tourism like space, agriculture and food tourism, and there are plans for an off-road trip from Urumqi to Astana.
