China's first domestic narrow-body plane, the C919, has shown its reliability after a year of safe performance. Experts and industry analysts said this on Tuesday. They expect it to have a bigger role in the civil aviation industry as more come into operation. 

China Eastern received its sixth C919 in Shanghai on Monday from Commercial Aircraft Corp of China(COMAC). The company bought its first five C919s in 2021 and signed a deal for another 100 in September. They will be delivered in the next seven years. 

The C919 made its first commercial flight between Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Beijing Capital International Airport on May 28 last year. China Eastern, as the first commercial operator of the C919, has accumulated valuable experience that will help the aircraft mature. 

The first five C919 jets have made 2, 181 commercial flights and operated for 6, 090hours, safely carrying about 300, 000 passengers as of Monday. Aviation industry analyst Lin said that no major safety incident shows the reliability and punctuality of the jets. 

Lin, who is also a columnist at a major civil aviation website, said, "As the C919 is used on more routes and flights every day, we expect its usage rate to get close to that of mature models like Airbus and Boeing. "

Qi, an associate professor at Guangzhou Civil Aviation College, said, "As a new model, it will take a long time for the C919 to become well-known and advanced. It needs to win market recognition, grow its fleet, gain consumer trust, and strengthen its production and supply chain to break the duopoly of Boeing and Airbus in the long term. "

The C919, designed according to international standards, is often compared to the AirbusA320 and the Boeing 737 series. It has reached six major airports in Chinese cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu and Xi' an. It was shown overseas for the first time at an air show in Singapore in February.

It was really a valuable experience to all of us. We began to think about the ways to deal with the difficulties in life. When we compare our "troubles" with those kids', (we) seem not worth mentioning at all.

The 15-year-old Canadian teenager Auldin Maxwell broke two of the records for stacking Jenga blocks(堆叠叠乐积木). He stacked 1,840 standard-sized Jenga pieces on top of just one 1 and also stacked 900 huge ones on a single block.

Maxwell, who has autism(自闭症), first 2 his talent by chance. "I have always liked balancing things and, as a baby, I used to stack anything like books and toys," he said. Although he has the 3 for stacking the blocks, he did come up with 4 ways to balance out the tower.

Maxwell's favorite thing about Jenga blocks is that it has 5 . He doesn't just see them as blocks in a game, but as tools that can be used for building all kinds of things. For him, it's an engineering challenge, and it can 6 his creative ability. He has a special 7 to building such towers. He can 8 it for about three hours. Before trying, he would prepare with some fun 9 , such as riding a bike or listening to music.

Now, Maxwell is trying to 10 another record— although this time, it has nothing to do with Jenga. "I want to solve the most Rubik's Cubes(魔方) while on a bike," he said.

Strange events in the sky, such as speeding lights or flying objects, which cannot be explained are called UFOs. Some people believe they could be a sign of aliens.

Many people think there are intelligent life forms in the universe other than humans. However, millions of pounds have been spent searching for aliens and no one has found proof. Some people think it is a waste of money and people's skills. So, is searching for aliens worth the money and effort? Here are two different voices.

It's a mystery that needs to be solved. "Are humans alone in the universe?" is a question that has inspired centuries of debate dating back thousands of years and at least as far as the ancient Greeks. It is a question that has inspired hundreds of books and films, which shows how important it is to people. If someone sees a UFO, we need to find out what it is. Scientists searching for aliens could create new technologies and these could do good to Earth. For example, the small, lightweight camera on phones was developed so astronauts could take photos in space. Plus, if we were to discover aliens, we might be able to share knowledge with each other and create friendships across the universe. 

  ▲   . There are many important problems here on Earth— such as climate change. People should focus energy on these rather than searching the universe for alien s that might not even exist. Many people have spent lots of money trying to find signs of alien life and there is no result. Videos of flashing lights and strange objects in the sky might make good stories but in fact there is probably a reasonable explanation, such as a dirty mark on the camera lens. Besides, if aliens do exist, they will probably find us first so we might as well stop wasting our energy on them and spend it making Earth a better place to live.
