On April 19, 2025, the world's first humanoid robot (人形机器人) half-marathon took place in Beijing's Yizhuang. Hundreds of people gathered to watch this exciting event. They were excited to see robots run together with human athletes.
The race began at 7:30 a. m. At the start, all robots looked confident. They moved smoothly and quickly. The crowd cheered loudly. However, not all robots could finish the race.
One robot, named Huanhuan, was loved by the audience because she had a beautiful design. But after just 10 minutes, Huanhuan suddenly stopped and stood still. Her team rushed to help, but they couldn't fix her. Huanhuan had to give up the race.
Other robots faced challenges too, such as steep slopes (陡坡), grassy areas, and gravel (沙砾) roads. These problems made it hard for robots to keep balance. Some robots wore special shoes to protect their "feet". Others used AI to change their speed and direction.
The first robot to finish was Tiangong Ultra. It completed the 21. 0975-kilometer race in 2 hours, 40 minutes, and 42 seconds. Its light body and cooling system helped it run fast.
After the race, engineers said the event was a valuable test for robot technology. "We learned a lot about how robots can work in real-world situations," said one engineer. "This is just the beginning."
The humanoid robot half-marathon showed that robots can deal with all kinds of tasks. They can get used to difficult environments and work with humans. In the future, these robots might help in factories, hospitals, or even at home.
Through this race, robot technology has taken a big step forward. Who knows what we'll see in the next humanoid robot marathon.

If a person hurt him, Confucius said, he would forgive him. In his mind, people are never perfect. They make mistakes and do bad things. People will become unhappythey just remember others' bad actions. So, why not let the bad things of the past golook at the future?
The story of Guan Zhong and Duke Huan of Qi (齐桓公) during the Spring and Autumn Period is good example. Guan Zhong once tried to kill Duke Huan of Qi. But when the Duke knew that Guan could help him look after his kingdom, he forgave Guan for what he did. So, Guan did his best help Duke Huan of Qi. Together, they made the kingdom better.
But letting go of bad things the past doesn't mean forgetting them. Instead, we should learn from them so that we don't make the same mistakes.
