Sir Edmund Hillary was born in 1919, he was a mountaineer, he went to many .

In 1953, he reached the summit of Mount Qomolangma, the  mountain on the earth. One of expert mountain climbers, Tenzing Norgay, went to the top  Hillary. They became great friends. The friendship  a lot to Hillary. Norgay had taken him to the top of the world. In return, he wanted to help him. Norgay told him his village needed a school so that  could learn.

In the 17th century, Isaac Newton spent his life  (work) out many laws of physics. He wanted to find out how things worked. For him, the world was his laboratory (实验室) in those early days of science.
