My name is Paul. I'm a football player. I often thought I could win a game by myself when I  young.  after I played many games, I learnt that teamwork was the key to win.   

Once our team had game against (对抗) another strong team. I played very well at the beginning. I dribbled(运球) a long way. I thought I could shoot it by myself. So I didn't want  pass the ball. But I was stopped (被抢断) and lost the ball.  the end, we lost the game. 

I felt very sorry. If I played for my teammates and we worked together, we would not lose the game. Teamwork is important. Everyone should know that. 

The students from our school  (volunteer) in an old people's home last week. This activity is a great  (例子) of teamwork. 

The teacher d the students into small groups. Group One cleaned  the rooms. Group Two t out rubbish. Group Three chatted with the elders to make  (they) happy. Some members of this group read newspapers for the old people. Group Four cooked t meals for the old people. When a group finished(完成) its job, the group members went  help the other groups. 

In this activity, the students helped each other and worked t. They  (show) strong teamwork.

It was Friday. It was sunny and bright. Players from the two teams played very hard and well. At the end of the first half(上半场) of the match, Class Three won 1 score.

 Fifteen minutes later, the match began again. We cheered our team on loudly.  "Pass the ball! Run! Run!" we kept shouting(叫喊). Deng Rong kicked the ball to Wang Lei.  He did it! All of my classmates were excited. In the end, we won the match 2 to 1.

 From the match, we know that one player doesn't make a team.

⑤Every medal won by Chinese players shows the team's hard work and the importance of teamwork.  

Last Friday, our teacher Miss Wang took us to climb the mountain near our school. The weather was fine and the sky was blue and clear. 

At the beginning, everyone was very excited. But as we climbed higher(更高地), the mountain path(小路) became steeper (更陡峭的). It was difficult to move on and some of my classmates wanted to give up.

Miss Wang cheered us up and told us to work together if we wanted to get to the top of the mountain. Zhang Ming helped Zhao Li carry the bag. Kangkang held Lingling. Li Xiang moved up for some distance(距离) and took Xiao Ya's arm. We helped each other along the way and tried to climb up.

Suddenly, Tony slipped and hurt his leg. Miss Wang quickly came to him. She cleaned his wound (伤口) and cheered him up. With her words, Tony decided to keep going.

When we reached the top of the mountain, we were so happy.

First, let me tell you something about our earth. It is  of water. As a matter of fact, sea water  about 71% of it. So the ocean is important to people and animals. It is home to many animals andplants and it also  water and food for people. But people do many bad things to it, such as throwing and pouring(倾倒) waste water into it. In some places, the sea looks a big rubbish bin. Sowe need to do something to protect the ocean. Here are three .

Use  things as little as possible. They are hard to break down and are bad for animals and plants in the ocean.

Take part in beach cleaning activities often. Collect rubbish recycle(回收) it.

Help more people to know about the importance of the ocean, and ask them to join in the activity of  the ocean.

Turn off the tap. When brushing our teeth, remember to turn off the tap.  This can save a lot of water.

Take short showers. It can help us save water and enjoy showers as well.

Water plants wisely. During these hours, water can stay in the soil longer(更长).

Collect rainwater.  For example, we can use it to water our plants or wash our cars.

Shandong has only 1% of China's water resources(资源). But it has 5% of China's farming land and plants 8% of the country's food. How does Shandong use and save water?

First, some big factories in Shandong don't use fresh water for production(生产). They use sea water as much as possible. There is a big factory in Weihai City.95% of the production water in it is sea water.

Second, as for farming, some cities start to use new technologies(科技) and new equipment(设备)for watering. Shouguang City in Shandong produces(生产) over 4.5 million tons of vegetables every year. Many vegetable farms use new ways to water their vegetables. It helps save more than 40% of water every year.

Shandong is trying its best to save water in factory producing and farming. It thinks it can do more and better in water saving.

Tom is playing football in the park. He is very thirsty so he runs to the tap to drink some water. But he leaves the tap running and goes back to play.

His sister Lily sees it. She isn't happy. She turns off the tap and goes to find Tom.

"Tom, you waste so much water! Do you know that many people in the world don't have enough water to drink?" Lily says seriously.

Tom says, "I'm sorry, Lily. I didn't think about that."

Then Lily tells Tom a story. In a small village, people have to walk a long way to get water every day. And the water is not very clean. Tom feels sorry for these people and understands that he should cherish(珍惜) water and save water.

From that day on, Tom becomes very careful when using water. He always turns off the tap after using it. He tells his friends to save water, too.
