How can you try it yourself? At first, think about a problem before bed, like homework or a creative project. Then, take a short nap, 20-30 minutes, or just relax quietly. Finally, when you wake up, find a pen and write down any thoughts—even silly ones! They might hold the key to your solution. 

So next time you' re stuck, try"sleeping on it". A little nap might be the secret to unlocking your best ideas!

In 2025, a special show in New York introduced people to Yin Guifang (1919一2000). She was a super-famous star in Yue Opera, a traditional Chinese art. The show wanted to tell the world how her art brought different cultures closer together. 

Yin Guifang was born in Zhejiang. When she was 10, she deveıoped a strong interest in Yue Opera. From then on, she practised singing and acting every day. In 1944 she created her own style. "Yin-style". With a soft and clear voice, she had the amazing ability to bring the characters she played to life. Two years later, she started the Fanghua Yue Opera Troupe in Shanghai and performed famous plays like The Butterfly Lovers. Also, she changed the way Yue Opera was performed by adding new ideas. In the 1980s, she taught young actors many useful skills, like using their hands and eyes to show feelings. 

After Yin Guifang died in 2000, her students and a group named the Yin Guifang Foundation didn't stop. They made new plays by mixing old stories with modern ones. They also worked with dramatists from New York and other places. They used new stage designs and music, but they still kept the traditional singing styles. Because of this, more people around the world began to know about Yue Opera. 

Yin Guifang's work still matters today. Her love for Yue Opera helped connect different countries and generations. At the 2025 New York show, Chnese visitors felt happy and proud. Old people sang old Yue Opera songs, and young people learned about this art for the first time. Her story tells us that art can bring people together. Her love for Yue Opera and her amazing performances will always be remembered by people.

People in ancient China worked long hours each day. To relax, they (invent) many games. Some of them had a long history. 

Why are jobs changing?

 （在……期间）the past years, computers and robots have replaced many jobs. For example, AI can quickly write stories or work out  （数学）problems. This means some jobs may disappear because machines can do the work faster. Besides, as people live  （久）than before, there's a growing need for doctors, nurses, and care workers. These jobs can't be replaced by machines  （容易）because they require human care and love.

Here's an amazing fact: after 2, 000 years, the red paint still looks fresh! How did this happen? Scientists discovered that ancient artists mixed their paint with special plant juices, like nature's secret recipe, to keep the color last over time.

One of his most famous adventures was the"Trash Walk" in Los Angeles in 2020. For 30 days, Robin collected every piece of trash（垃圾）he made. By the end of this adventure, he walked around cities wearing an eye-catching"trash suit", which was made of plastic bottles and cans. The strange clothes surprised people and made them talk about their own habits. He hoped people would see this and think"What would my trash suit look like? How much rubbish do I really produce?"

To help more people live greener, Robin has made a lot of efforts. He made teaching videos like The Story of Stuff to show where trash came from. He also wrote a book called Food Freedom to encourage people to grow their own food and buy from nearby farmers. And he donated most of his money to the communities so that they could grow their own healthy food in gardens. 

Through his actions, he inspires people worldwide to lead a zero-waste lifestyle. "If everyone does a little bit, " he says, "we can make our planet cleaner. " His story proves that everyone's efforts, combined with teamwork, can make a big difference all over the world.

Born in Texas, Spud was much smaller than the other kids at school. However, he dreamed of playing in the NBA.

On the Japanese island of Yakushima, two species（物种）of animals, the macaque monkeys and sika deer, have developed an unusual relationship. Monkeys ride around the island on the deer's backs, smoothing their soft fur as they go. In return, the deer eat fruit left by the monkeys and clean their droppings at night, inadvertently（无意地）cleaning the monkeys' homes. It appears that the two species actively communicate to influence each other's behavior. 

Professor Cédric Sueur, an animal behavior expert at the University of Strasbourg, notes that this action suggests a form of communication. "There' s a kind of watching, thinking or understanding. " he says. While it is common for animals to learn behaviors from members of their own species, Sueur and his partners believe that the behavior of the deer and monkeys shows that social learning can appear across species. They name it as"co-culture". "I think there are a lot of species showing co-culture though we' ve never thought about it before. " says Sueur. 

As their studies get further, more examples of co-culture are noticed. In Yellowstone Park, crows follow grey wolves to find dead animals in the woods during winter. In the Indian Ocean, octopuses and grouper fish have been found hunting together. These suggest that cross-species cultural influence is more widespread than we thought before. 

Professor Jean Leca, an animal expert from Canada, stressed that people used to think animals don't have any culture, but the study shows it is wrong now. "It's very reasonable（合情理的）that different animal species can influence each other in their ways of living and how they see the world. This new idea on animal behavior could change our understanding of the animal kingdom. We should also remember that human behavior might not be the only one of its kind in the world, " he says, "However, more research is needed to fully understand how co-culture develops in the animal world. We scientists must dig deeper to discover the mysteries of it. "
