Do you know about PE class in Canada? It's 1 from that in China. Let me tell you about it. 

I have my PE class every 2 from 8:40 to 10 a.m. When the class begins, we need to run around the school to warm up. It not only makes us feel full of 3 but also keeps us from getting hurt. Then, the teacher tells us 4 to do next in a clear way.

Today, I'm going to talk about my hobby. Some people play sports and others build models, but my hobby is collecting stamps. I love stamps because they are very  (beauty). They can also teach me about the history and culture of different countries.

I developed this hobby thanks to my grandpa. He is a stamp  (collect), and he owns thousands of stamps. Some of them are  (value), so he always handles them with great  (careful). He even wears white  (glove) to protect his stamps! Every Sunday, my grandpa adds new ones to his collection,  I sometimes help him take old stamps from envelopes and postcards. He likes to tell me interesting stories about the different stamps. It is almost like a history lesson.

Let me show you an absolutely  (wonder) stamp of the Palace Museum. It is my favourite because it was my first one. My grandpa bought it for me. "They built these buildings hundreds of years ago. It may seem impossible, but they built them without using  single nail!" he explained. My grandpa also shared many other interesting bits of history about the old palace. Thanks to this stamp, I became interested  traditional Chinese buildings, and I started to collect similar stamps. Now I have over a hundred of them, and I am learning more and more about Chinese history and culture.

Collecting is a great hobby for students. It can bring us lots of fun and help us grow. 

First, collecting makes our free time meaningful. Many students feel bored in their spare time. 

Second, collecting is educational.  We can learn much knowledge outside textbooks.

Third, collecting helps us make friends.  We can share our collections and stories together.

In short, collecting is a wonderful hobby.  We should keep this good hobby.

Nancy's hobby is collecting sharpeners (卷笔刀). She spends a lot of time on it after school. She has been collecting more than one hundred sharpeners. They are all different in colour and size. Nancy likes sharpeners with animals on them. In this way, she learns the names of many animals. 

Sometimes Nancy has many sharpeners of the same kind. She gives them to her friends. Then they give her other different sharpeners in return. Nancy has many e-friends in many countries. She sends them sharpeners from her country. In return, they send her sharpeners of their countries. Nancy's father also gives her sharpeners. He brings them home from his friends for free. 

Many of Nancy's friends collect other things. Some collect coins and others collect matchboxes (火柴盒) or stamps. But all of them say that Nancy's collection is the most interesting of all.

Collecting is a popular hobby with people around the world. Some people collect stamps, bottles or dolls, and others collect baseball cards, teapots or shells. There are almost as many kinds of collections as there are collectors.

Coin collecting, called numismatics, is one of the most popular kinds of collecting. People like learning about coins and their history. They like to find rare (稀有的) coins. Some see their collections as a valuable investment (投资), and others just enjoy the beauty and variety of their coins.

There are many different kinds of coin collections. Some numismatists choose to collect foreign coins. They may choose a certain country or a certain time period when they begin their collections. Another popular way to collect is to choose a theme (主题) and then look for coins that have pictures of the animals, people, or objects about it.

Some collections can become very valuable. This counts on the type of the coin, the rarity of the coin and the need for the coin. If you own a rare coin that few people are interested in, it will be worth less than a rare coin that many people want to own.

Condition (状况) also plays an important role in deciding a coin's value. Serious collectors keep their coins very carefully in special boxes. They handle their coins with gloves.

If you are interested in starting a coin collection, the best thing to do is to learn a little about it first. You can find books about coin collecting at the library, and you'll learn how to decide the value of different coins and keep your collection properly. Next time you look through the coins in your pocket, you might find that you have the beginning of a very interesting hobby!

From Monday to Friday, most people are busy working or studying, but in the evenings and on weekends they are free and 1 themselves. Some watch television or go to the movies, others take part in sports. This is decided by their own 2 . There are many different ways to spend their free time.

Daniel was ill (生病的) and had to stay at home all day. He was very  because he missed (想念) his friends and school. He  on the chair by the window and looked at the garden outside from time to time. This brought him a little fun.

A rooster flex to the sun. "Please come back and make the world warm and bright again, " he said.

The sun didn't listen. "No, I will not come back. Tell everyone the world will stay cold and dark."

"I will do as you say," said the rooster. "But I need your help. If you don't come back, I have to fly home in the dark. I am afraid a tiger will catch me. If I crow (打鸣), will you come and save me?"

The sun said, "Yes, I will save you."

The rooster flew away. Before he got home, he crowed loudly, "Cock-a-doodle-doo!" Then he hid himself.

The sun rose into the sky. He looked for the rooster but could not find him.

From then on, the rooster crows every morning. The sun gets up and looks for the roaster. He never finds him.
