The day I heard that the Bright Bookstore was closing, I was sad. The bookstore had been in the neighborhood for 50 years, and it was  great place where people could connect through their love of books. 

When I met Old Tim, the store's owner, he told me it was difficult (rum(运营·)a traditional bookstore. Most young people preferred reading e-books and more people bought books online. 

Childhood  (memory) came back to me so clearly. A group o t us kids often went to the store. We looked at the new books, or just talked with Tim. We spent hours reading there. Tim encouraged us to share our ideas by (write) them on a large board.

"One nut, from 0. 8 to 6 centimeters long, can be made into fan pendants(坠饰), earrings, buttons, ' seals and so on, " said Tan Wanhai, 48, an inheritor of Weifang nut carving. 

However, the craftsman also said that bringing this kind of artwork to life is not easy. They have to study each peach pit to carefully plan out their artwork. 

 According to Tan, they have to master skills in painting, seal carving(印章篆刻) and calligraphy from many traditional cultures. 

Thanks to their creative design and fresh ideas, Weifang mut carving artworks have been increasingly welcomed by people in China.  And more people have even become inheritors to pass down the skill to young people.

Bert won a prize called Young Heroes for his"green" project(项目). This young person was now a university student. His love for insects(昆虫) grew deeper and he was protecting them for the future.

The Year of the Cat in Vietnam (越南)

In the Chinese zodiac (十二生肖), there are twelve animals, but there is no cat. However, in Vietnam, people have a festival for "Year of the Cat" instead of the "Year of the Rabbit." There are many reasons for this change. 

Long ago, the Chinese zodiac came to Vietnam. In China, the rabbit is called "mao tu. " The word "mao" sounds like the Vietnamese word for "cat." Because of this, the rabbit turned into a cat in Vietnam's zodiac. 

Vietnam is warm and has many jungles (热带丛林). These places are not good for rabbits but perfect for cats. Also, growing rice is very important in Vietnam. There are many mice in the rice fields, and cats help catch them. People think cats bring good luck. 

Vietnamese people also have fun sayings about cats. For example, "as sharp as cats' eyes" means someone likes to show off. Another saying, "like a cat seeing fat," talks about someone who can't wait to get something they like. 

If you had 100 yuan, how much would you spend? And how much would you like to save? 

Spending and saving  the two things we often do with our . Our family might  money on food, clothes and fun activities like traveling or going to the movies. Spending us get the things we need to enjoy life. 

Meanwhile, saving helps us  for the future. By putting money aside, we can buy bigger things later,  a bike or even a house. It also helps in emergencies (紧急情况), like going to the doctor.

The day begins with the morning. The air is fresh, and the sun shines softly. Birds sing in the trees. People start their daily routines. Some people run in the park to enjoy the quiet time. Some are busy making breakfast for their families.  The whole world wakes up, full of energy and hope. 

  The sun is high in the sky, shining brightly. Workers stop working to rest. Students relax after morning classes. Noon is a short but important break. It gives people a chance to recharge and prepare for the afternoon. 

The afternoon is the third part of the day. It can be a busy time for work or study. When the weather is warm and sunny,  Everyone does different things to stay productive or enjoy themselves. 

Finally, it's evening. As the sun sets, the sky turns orange and pink. Lights come on in houses and streets. Some people gather at home,  Others go to the movies or concerts for fun. As night falls, the world grows quiet. People prepare for sleep, waiting for a new day to begin.

If you watch a long line of ants, you will find they can move without (没有) running into each other. That's amazing! Unlike people, ants walk in good lines even when there are hundreds of them. Let's learn how they do this! 

Ants are very small and don't have traffic lights, but there is no problem when they work together! How? When they need food, one brave ant goes out first. When it walks, it leaves behind a special smell called a pheromone (信息素). Other ants smell and follow it. This way, everyone knows where to go without getting lost. 

Scientists watched ants getting food and saw something cool. Ants usually work in small groups of 3 to 20 ants to carry the food, all moving at the same speed (速度). They stay close but not too close, like friends holding hands. If an ant slows down, the ants behind don't push. They just slow down too! This helps them keep moving. 

Maybe ants' smart tricks could help people with traffic problems. And people can learn from ants to make the road safer and faster! Imagine if cars could move like ants, they could drive in groups at the same speed. And there will be no speeding or sudden (突然的) stops! Remember: the key is teamwork, patience (耐心), and following simple rules!

On apps like Douyin, everyone looked perfect. Emma drank coffee in Paris. Jack won a soccer game. Lucy's photos looked like beautiful paintings. But my photos? My birthday cake was messy. My clothes got dirty on sports day. I deleted (删除) almost all of them, and I just kept one. In it, I was smiling, but it wasn't real. 

I tried so hard to make my posts look great. I walked far to take flower photos. I spent 30 minutes making burnt eggs look nice. Even when I cried over homework, I posted: "Working hard!" But no one liked my posts. That night, I cried in the bathroom and threw my phone against the wall angrily. 

My phone screen broke. I told Lucy: "Your life is perfect." She said: "No! I took 20 photos for one post! And I used some apps to make my photos look more beautiful." We talked all the evening. Emma was not drinking coffee in real Paris. Jack was scared before his soccer game…Finally, I came to realize that life isn't always perfect. At 9: 00 p.m., I took a picture of my broken phone screen and shared it on Douyin. 

The next day, people loved my real photo! Comments (评论) said: "Finally, someone is like me!" I shared more: messy rooms, dirty clothes, crying over homework…My friend sent a message to me: "You just act like studying hard in your photos!". 

Well, perfect photos are not real. Everyone has messy moments and that's okay! When we show our true selves, we make real friends. Being yourself is better than being perfect!

Leilani was a happy girl from England. She loved her teddy bear, Jofli. One day, her family took a trip to Disney World in Florida. Leilani was so excited! She held Jofli close and took photos with Mickey Mouse, Cinderella... Every day, Jofli stayed by her side. They laughed, played, and made wonderful memories together.
