After a long vacation from school, it's often hard to get back into the study routine. Your mind is probably filled with short-term memory gaps and new experiences that make you feel like your brain has been taking a long nap. Since schools will go back to their normal system, students also need to get ready early. Here are some simple tips that can help you get back into the swing of studying:
Create the desire(欲望) to learn.
The driving force behind achieving success in life is desire. As a student, you must have the de- sire to learn. When there is a desire to learn, it will help you get back to your study habit faster. Learning can be difficult, but fear and worrying won't solve the problem either.
Make a list of priorities.
Once you' ve got the basics down, it's time to make a list of what's important. This is the most important step in any plan: you have to put your tasks in order and make sure they' re not all piled up on top of each other. Don't forget that there are also time limits involved.
Find a way to track your progress.
There are several ways to make sure you keep track of your progress. If not, then find one online or at school, and make sure it's easy to find when you need it. This way, even if you forget what day a task is due(到期), there will always be some kind of reminder nearby to tell you when things need to be done next time.
It's okay to ask for help. You don't have to do it alone, and the more people who help you, the better. You will learn from their experiences and feel more confident by being able to make your own decisions when needed.
Getting back into studying can be a challenge; knowing how to handle it will help you in your future studies.
A. You must keep away from all kinds of fear.
B. Use a calendar if you have one in your room.
C. The first battle you need to win is in your mind.
D. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
E. This way, you can make sure you' re spending your time wisely.
Among the four tips mentioned in the passage, which one do you think is the most important? Why?(不超过20词)

2、 阅读下列短文,从每题所给的四个选项(A、B、C和D)中选出最佳选项。
On a Saturday night in January, I was making my way to a sleepover at Nathan's house. This was going to be a wonderful adventure as I had never been to his place before. I had received the address, 39 Western Avenue, via text message. As I turned the corner and stepped onto Western Avenue, a large cloud moved in front of the moon, leaving a shadow(阴影) over everything.
In the dimness, I found it truly hard to see the house numbers clearly. However, not wanting to waste any time, I walked up the driveway of what I thought might be Nathan's house. I rang the bell and waited patiently, expecting someone to open the door and welcome me. But no one came. Thinking that perhaps they hadn't heard the first ring, I rang the bell again. After a few moments of waiting, I realized with a sinking feeling that I had made a mistake. I had gone to number 37 instead of 39.
Just then, the door of number 37 opened suddenly. The house was completely dark inside, so I could hardly see anything. Suddenly, there was a loud shout and a man rushed past me, running towards the street. Another man quickly followed him. They were in such a great hurry to leave that they dropped most of the things they were carrying. Curiosity(好奇心) getting the better of me, I picked up one of the items so that I could look at it more closely. To my surprise, it was a beautiful brooch. Right then, I understood what had been happening. These men must be thieves! Without hesitation(犹豫),I took out my phone and called the police.
I stood on the doorstep, anxiously waiting for what seemed like a long time. After five or ten minutes had passed, an unmarked police car finally arrived. Two policemen got out of the car. One of them immediately went into the house to look for clues while the other policeman asked me about the thieves. "You did extremely well," he said with admiration. "It was really____▲____ of you to interrupt(打断) those thieves and chase them away." I felt a sense of pride and relief knowing that I had done the right thing.

From voluntarily collecting historical materials related to the Great Wall in his Shanxi hometown in Province to becoming an official cultural heritage protector, Yuan Xuerui has spent over twenty years safeguarding the ancient wonder.
China's Great Wall is one of the great wonders of the world and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built from 3 BC to the 1800s on the north of the country, the Great Wall has a total length of more than 20,000 kilometers.
Yuan, 55, was born in Qingxibao at the foot of the ancient wall in Shanxi' s Daixian county, which is part of the city of Xinzhou. His love for the ancient wall motivated(激励) him to protect it, and when not engaged (从事) in farm work, he spent most of his time walking along the wall to collect bricks that had fallen off due to the long time and prepare for repairs. "What others think as a difficult and dull task of cultural heritage protection often brings me unexpected discoveries," Yuan said.
He officially became a cultural heritage worker in 2018, and since then his duties have expanded from collecting bricks to organizing ancient documents related to the wall to better tell stories about it. As a heritage worker, Yuan has come to understand the meaning of the Great Wall."Each brick has endured(忍受) the test of time over hundreds of years — in some cases more than a thousand— carrying rich historical memories," he said.
This summer, Yuan organized a campaign to call for people to collect bricks for the future repair of the wall. Many bricks were taken away from the Great Wall by local villagers to build their houses in the 1960s and 1970s. "As villagers' awareness of the need to protect the wall has grown, nowadays, when locals find fallen bricks along the Great Wall, they will pick them up," he said. "If they see garbage, they will also pick it up and throw it into bins."
